I ordered a skin also, but I'm not sure how it's applied. Does it cover the entire device? Do they apply it when you buy together with the device? The only color choice of the device when I ordered yesterday was gun mental.

This video shows how to apply the skin on the DNA.
I'm guessing it's the same/similar to the rDNA

Got a quick question to rDNA users...

How long does it take to charge the VTC battery via USB (wall charger) from zero to full?
Also, anyone tried using a power bank on the rDNA? Would it work?
I'm planning to pick up this power bank :

I put my new Nautilus Mini on my Sigelei v5 this weekend and dig it a lot! I'm also smitten by the VS rdna30! I've read through this thread and checked online but, haven't been able to find a picture of the Gunmetal finish. Or maybe it's so close to the black that I don't recognize it. Can someone post a pic of the VS in the gunmetal finish? Many thanks!

QUESTION: Does the Evolv DNA30D chip contain any "safety" features such as a shut down if it overheats and or a short of some sort in a topper? I understand that it some cases (?) it will just display an error code and then reset in a similar fashion as a ProVari so I might be answering my own question. /lol

Yes it does.

It's much more interactive than a ProVari and can display:

Check Atomizer: The DNA does not detect an atomizer, the atomizer has shorted out, or the atomizer
resistance is incorrect for the power setting.

Shorted: The atomizer or wiring are short circuited.

Check Battery: The battery is below 3.1 volts. It probably needs to be charged.

Weak Battery: The battery sags excessively when firing. This typically means the user is not using a high
rate battery, or the battery is old and degraded. It can also mean the battery is not making good contact.

Too Hot: The DNA 30D has onboard temperature sensing. It will shut down and display this message if
the internal board temperature becomes excessive.

Too low power setting: The DNA 30D puts out a minimum of 4 volts. With low power settings (7 to 8
watts) and low resistance atomizers (below 2 ohms) the DNA will sometimes be unable to provide a low
enough power output to be power regulating. If this is the case, the Ohms display will be flashing. The
device will still operate.

I share an office with a smoker. He used to light up then walk out with lit cig (UGH!!! No longer does it tho, thankfully). I've been working on him with e-cig, but no go ... not for him. It's cool, I understand.

One happy camper here ! Waited patiently for 4:30, drove that long 3 mile to get to the house. Forced myself to feed the pets first, then open the best vape mail I've gotten in really long time. Watched a couple you tube vids. Best one from a British guy (DNA30, not rDNA30) Hooked up my Kanger Aero Tank beast, set it at 10ish watts (I'm working my way up ) Diggen it!! I guess I didn't know what "Teal" color is. But that's what color skin I got. No biggie. Although, I'll probably get another color later. The skin is real nice. Kind a rubbery texture. Imo, it was really easy to put on the mod. Will try my carto tank and my Magma next. I might be selling a couple other mods on the classies !

Now I'm contemplating what topper to get... I learned how to do kayfun rbas - got a decent build on a patriot clone... Now thinking of grabbing a Mephisto and/or a magma clone... Pics will be up soon as I get the rDna...
What toppers are y'all using....
