The Cerakote is tough as nails. After 5 months of use there is barely any visible wear. No scratching around the 510 connection. There is some slight wear on the thin rim that out sticks around the screen where the device sits on, but that is to be expected considering how often it gets picked up and put down on desks and tables etc. I'd compare the toughness of the finish equal to my Provari.

Considering the paint job cost only 25€ i am extremely pleased with it and would do it again.

Yeah but how much do you want to bet, after the sale, the price of the mods will go down by 15-20%, so they still sell well when the 200w comes out. Lol.
I can almost guarantee that they're at rock bottom prices right now. They drop to $130/$100 a month ago. Even chinese companies can't do better than $100 for an evolv DNA40 mod.

The meter in the DNA40 chip is most likely more accurate than your average ohmreader since high accuracy resistance reading is required for temperature control to work.
All in all the rDNA is a very fine device that gives a splendid vape with a smooth flat signal at any powerlevel.

My only beef with the device is that the finish is not at all durable. You may want to purchase one of their shark skins if you do end up getting one. Personally I ended up getting my shark sandblasted and certakote painted to remedy the terrible cosmetics.

Could you post some photos of your mod? I'm going to sand blast my mod soon, was thinking of a plastidip initially but yours is a more pragmatic solution.

The website seems to have a few issues, actually...

I sure hope they remedy this, I was so excited to finally order an rDNA 40! I've spent the last week doing math and cutting corners in my budget just to be able to afford it at 15% off, but there's no way with another $20 on there. Not til next month anyway.

Has anyone gotten the code to work yet?

When the code is not working order without the code and write VS an email with the code to add it to your order. They'll refund the 15%.
That's what I did on the fathersday sale.
I'm too afraid to do that, on the off chance that they don't. I can't even get hem to reply to an email right now. I know it's a holiday weekend and all, but they have a special going on...
