Jherron I put my request for a 1mm air inlet in the pp notes. Is that sufficient?

Getting quiet excited for this atty. I think it will be perfect on my new cocobolo pipe by Stiff. Nice an streamlined with the ss tank. ;-)

Do get excited! They are awesome (I know that word gets used a lot, but it is so true!)!

I have been working out of town just got home yesterday for the holidays. Had alot of vapemail waiting for me.....including the Stratus :)

I havent coiled it up yet but i have gave it a good look over. Everything lines up great overall look of it is very very nice. Love the look!

My only complaints so far are the nicks scratches and dents all over and and the machine oil. I guess i will have to buff it up myself with some fine sand paper. I received the machine finish...even sanding it down a bit wont remove the larger dents in the body top cap and stainless tank.

I was hoping for a better quality finish. I will be setting it up today and posting a review later in the week. Hopefully the performance makes up for the finish.

Thanks for mentioning that. I have the same type of issues; machine oil and sharp burrs. Removing the tank to do a detailed cleaning was pretty difficult and the top cap o-rings were difficult to remove to the point where i snapped one. Replacing the tank took the same type of effort, even with using juice as lubrication; i ended up chipping the pyrex tank.

The hole where the wick is also not clean cut, there are burrs and sharp edges that catch on to the mesh.

I jut wanted to say if someone is unhappy with a product, I feel you should contact the maker before posting on an open forum. At least give someone the consideration to make it right first.

These are handmade, not by some big machine shop, and as with all things made this way, there are bound to be some imperfections. I know jherron will go above & beyond to make his customers happy!

Sorry, just had to say all that...

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! :)

Rather a doubled edged sword. I agree private communication is best to allow Jherron to work it out. However if there are general finish issues, it will allow him to perfect his craft. Handmade or cnc, both can have issues if each piece is not inspected. He is willing to make it right and that says a lot in my book.

Merry Christmas everyone.

I will not get upset with negative feedback , it does let me know what I need to improve on . ive never had any formal training in machining but im always learning new methods and techniques to improve . privately or publicly it does not matter to me , I have nothing to hide .

One reason I like this guy:

Cool as a cucumber. :)
