Good news about the new heads !! I've been on this thread from git go since the first day we rcvd the first batch. Like most have reported... Huge vapor , little to no taste. I thought my 2.4 head was starting to perk up but it leveled off.

Crossing my fingers that that improved heads hit the target cause its a great tank ! If these things start vaping like the Ego Visions / Stardusts , my perfect tank search is over !!!

Kudos to Chris and GV for staying on this. And an additional thanks to Chris who sent me the missing tip for my C8 and tossed in some extra goodies including a second C8 at no charge for the mishap.... Good customer service there fellas !

Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up:

There *is* a way to make the tanks leak a tiny bit. For the last two days I've been finding teeeny droplets of liquid on the bottom. I keep the tanks seated in those shorty eGo thread covers - they make a perfect tank stand - when not on the batt. So I noticed that the tanks were sticking to the stand, at first - just a bit tacky. Last night I actually saw a bit of liquid on bottom of the base. Yikes, I thought to myself, I've tightened the tanks too much, and now the gasket is blown or something. PITA. Not so. The threads are full of juice on both tanks, but the juice seems to stop at the gasket, and there is no leakage from that area *at all*. Where it's leaking from is the air holes.

In other words - I *did* flood them. I was putting the liquid up beyond the 2.8 ml line, like the Vision site said, and shaking the tank around, and turning it upside down, etc. It didn't gurgle, and didn't show any other signs of flooding. Except for a few drops out of the air holes apparently.

Was that, maybe the purpose of that extra thread of wick that was just floating on top of the coil? To cover up the wick slits entirely to prevent flooding?... 'Cause the hats are sitting flush with the top of the post, so the slits are not more open than was designed. But I did get rid of those threads.

And I have a request: folks, would you look at your tanks carefully and see if there is liquid in the threads of yours? I am wondering if I *am* tightening them too much...

Well I am stepping off of the Gotvapes train for good. I got 4 days off of one head (was the only one that worked good) and less than 24 hours off of the other two that totally sucked ...and no was not running HV through them. out of aprox $160 of C8's, Fluxo's, Micromizers, Stardust and Vivi Nova, all I got that worked well were 5 Phoenix clearos. I have noticed a trend of the "Next Greatest thing" only to turn out dud. For those who don't mind spending money to test products for Gotvapes, be my guest! When I purchase a product I expect it to work as advertised, PERIOD!

To Gotvapes: You might practice some better communication skills to customers by tagging untested products as a Beta products with a warning and then if the customer decides to proceed they do so knowingly. I have not been a customer very long but the time I have been has been a huge let down and waste of my money. A bad product here and there is one thing, as I do understand things can happen.

Or someone who wants to stock up on them while they are cheap

LOL. Ya you got me on that one. My one track mind. You can count me out though. The Nova was the last 510 device I will ever buy. My Zenesis Standard will be here tomorrow and I am using a mini until then. Whats funny is the mini works better then the Nova did. My days of disappointment are over. Best part is I wont even need to buy mesh or wire for at least a year. Good luck to everyone and I hope things change in the future.

I am thinking of just staying with atomizers. They work. Maybe someday when all is working with the cartos and tanks I will be back too. I have mostly been disappointed with the cartos going dry or not having enough flavor and such. Too much money spent to keep trying these things out. I'm sure GV and others will work with the manufacturers to get these things worked out but for now, I'm out too.. Sorry, But, I'm glad they are coming out with new innovations.

its so sad to see this thread ending like this. Bad ive been following this for a few days and i must say i still give you credit. People have to realize that vaping is still a new and upcoming thing. how many people do you think were dissappointed in the first computer? the first car? cell phone? i mean come on people, were kinda making history here. And to think that all people involved in this are just dismissing what could be the next big thing so easily? scares the heck outta me! Well Bad, I can say I havent gotten a chance to try these bad boys out, vaping on a budget right now and still have a few weeks before I can make a purchase (and spoiling the GF for her birthday and just had a niece into the world this past weekend) but I hope to see this product grow and we find the answer everyones looking for. Its an absolutely awesome concept and may just need a little bit of fine tuning! good luck GV!!

we will continue doing what we do and nothing or no one will stop that, the day this ends is when the fda ends it or we are all forced out(all vendor) of this business or I die, until any of those happen I will keep dropping new product all the time and improving what i can when i can , if it wasnt for I and a few sleect others we wouldnt be where we are today with mass market tanks and clearos. some seem to forget these new things where killed off 2 years ago and becuase of br,zoid v1joh, myself and a few others we saw something special and becuase of that and reviving it and seeing the potential we are where we are much faster.

some will complain and thats their right but that wont stop us from doing what we do, more people are happy then not and thats why are growing at a faster rate then ever. some people appreciate the work we do, some dont, not going to lose sleep over it.

I appreciate your words and thank you for that biker.

and no worries this thread is just getitng started, new heads are coming, metal tubes and so much much more, the vivi will live on for a long time to come.

I hear ya Bad. I started in the computer industry when the Apple II + was brand new, and got to watch a lot of stuff we thought was totally new and awesome come around.....and almost everything had glitches and fixes required. Progress is never a smooth path. New technology and new ideas take some time. I, for one, totally appreciate all the new stuff, as well as your efforts to make it better.

I got a couple of boxes of Phoenix, a couple of 3ml Phoenix, and a Vivi Nova. I'm still on my first head on the Vivi Nova (2.4), and it is working well for me....I will definitely be continuing with the VN, and will be picking up some of the new heads. The Phoenix have been pretty good for me, although I've had a couple with problems.....they work, they are cool, but I like the 3ml Phoenix and the VN better. I really like the Stardusts, and will continue with them as well. I have had a few that cracked, but assuming that will go away with the new plastic.....will be buying some when they arrive. Also looking forward to trying out the Scorpion. I'm not someone who wants to fiddle a whole lot, and seriously doubt that I will be trying to rebuild a coil.....but all in all.....I've seen good products and lots of effort from you guys...and I will be hanging around.

I love the Vivi, probably won't order many of them simply because they are big and heavy for a "girlie vape" :) And I change flavors a lot, which makes big tanks a bit of an overkill for me. But nice for ADV with my favorite flavors.

I personally am THRILLED that GotVapes is pushing the envelope to bring new and better technology to market and improve the vaping experience. I did my first computer program on a Tandy TRS-80 computer with 64K (!!!!) of RAM! Pushing the envelope is how leaps forward in innovation are made. My, how much better vaping has become over the tiny little foam filled cartos I started out with, that I had to refill about every 47 seconds and charge batteries every hour....

Danno and Chris, great work. I'm a fan and I'll keep buying the new products, even if there are bugs to work out sometimes. It is worth it to keep making vaping better and better!
