Aaaaaannnd, my tank is cracking! It cant be from the juice, I was using BWB Orchard frost which I have used in all my tanks and never had one crack. Its small (1-2mm cracks) vertically all around the base of the tube. I didnt even tighten it down all the way but its not leaking either. This sucks!Just got it this morning. Maybe it came that way and I just didnt notice? Doubtful though.
Ive never had a need for a metal one as the juices I use have never cracked a tank. I dont in particular think its the juice but rather a tight oring fit? I didnt wrench it down by any means, its "hand" tight and still has room to tighten more. Its weird. I would get a metal tank, but in all honesty...im just not a fan of them. I use both plastic and glass.I have been using Hot cinnoman menthol in mine since yesterday at 3pm. No damage. But I bought metal tanks in case the clear one failed. And they are really nice looking. Very reasonably priced.

Dear fellow vapors, I got one of the new 2.5 heads that is supposedly 1.8, it is on a original vivi the first version, it is not leaking and is out of this world on perfomance, I did not do anything to it execpt screw on the head, fill and start vaping. If this thing lasts any time at all it is the most outstanding thing you can get. I hope they never change it. This is the best of the best, again it is the original with the new 2.5 version of the head on it. Thanks Got Vapes you guys Rock!!!!!!![]()

oh mellow, thats what im working on as we speak, that is the bionic phoenix program, its a while away but will feature full control for wicking, new wicking materials, fully rebuildable .
oh... it also uses a special base so it can go from thinner tank like a xl phoenix or switch to a 5ml tanks on the fly., all in the same unit.
That's not a provari... Lavatube. No?
For anyone wanting to know how to connect non-resist wire to resist wire, the 1st 4 minutes of the below video shows it well. Well done Scott Bonner aka Igetcha69. This method actual puts 1/2 inch more resistance wire in the coils. 1/4 for each positive and negative. It also keeps the heat were it belongs. I have tried it and it works perfectly. Note, those coils need to be tight and close together to fit in the small space of the mesh cup. But very do-able.

Thanks I was wanting to see a video showing how to put in a no resistance lead. Just as an experiment I had taken my 2.8 ohm head and cut the wire shorter and then recoiled it. Of course I got a pretty bad burning flavor and presumed it was burning the plastic gasket thing. It was, but I also had it to close to that mesh cup you were talking about, and it was slightly burned. I'm wondering if it would still work OK if you just left that mesh cup out. I don't think the Vivi Nova v.1 even had it?
you can also use the driptip included in the phoenix packs which we will sell seperatly, those cling to the walls and dont use orings so the seal is 100% tight.
i have been so busy i forgot today was fathers day until last night, so i have to go be with the family, then ill drop videos when i get back
appreciated, but what im explaining is the drip tip from the phoenix is not the same, it has a longer insert and wider and will do what your saying. ill show it in the video
the phoenix driptip is soft rubber so it doesnt work like other drip tip at the connection point, its flat with no orings and is longer at that section then typical drip tips, essentialy replicating what your discussing.
Oh, I thought I read somewhere that any 510 would work.

I'm using just reg drip tips... They are prettier.Haven't have problems per se, but improvements are always welcome - will you post which o-rings and how it works, etc? A hungry lion won't chase me into the use of black rubber drip tip if i can avoid it.
