Altogether plain would not appeal to me at all. A simple PS logo like the Protege or grimmgreen's design etched in subtly would be great. Or the logo on one side and grimm's design on the other.

You could make 'em all with the PS logo and add the design on the other side for those that want 'em.

Grimm's design looks great on a web page, I 'm sure most people who are hesitant just want to see how it looks on the device. IMO subtle is better
