mad vapes sells the same 1s-6s volt meter; theirs is ~$7

Just checked, they are in stock and $6.99

Battery Voltage Indicator

I was reading in that link description for the meter -these may not work if used with a switching regulator.
Im not the sharpest needle with that being said will those work with the LM 2596 board i just bought if so i can add another part to my inventory unless there is something smaller i could use. :)
Thanks .

wouldn't that stop at 4.5 and not read lower? due to the power requirement like the one I got that stops at 6?
Is yours a 2s or a 1s, if it is a 1s you have it wired wrong, the same thing happened to me when I wired the first time like you drew, you can not read the pos in and out of the regulator on separate pins.

I haven't had a reason to use my large VV Batt/PT mod in months, hardly ever away from a AC/12v source or in the car or airplane. My much smaller VV PT is my daily fulltime PV and now with the "Cheap Line" I just finished, it is really a joy. Building a rechargeable snap on battery pack for it when needed. Like when I am fly fishing in the middle of a stream. A 11.1 Li-po in a box. that snaps onto the PT.

This is the cheap line, very easy to make and less than $10.

Ok, I was thinking something like the small one with an external battery pack that could use a 2.1 jack then you can get or mod a cable to be 2.1 to 2.1 male to male and viola, you have portable power that is interchangeable with a very small unit for vaping. I have a feeling we are on the same page here.

Hmmm, a snap on model. Why not create a separate power source and use that as a pass through? Like an altoid box battery pack with a 2.1 jack, maybe?
I have a couple of large battery packs and have used them to power PT but to bulky and most only put out 5v. Thinking something much smaller that will snap onto the back of the small box.

A 2.1mm to 2.1mm hard bridge jumper is what I am building to snap the two together.
