I live in Versailles and was a PAD smoker sometimes more depending on the stress level for 30+ years.
I qut analogs cold turkey when my maxxfusion arrived. I have only had 2 analogs since I switched and that was because I got caught with no charged batts. They were nasty by the way, I did not enjoy them as much as I thought I would. I am very new to the vaping world and I am glad to see their are some fellow vapers here in KY.

Hello, everyone. I live in Lexington, and have been vaping for about a month and a half. Off analogs completely for 16 days now, and don't really miss them. I started out with a junk convenience store ecig, then found ECF. Decided to try the 510-T, which held me for a few weeks. Then I got my Go-Go, and I'm set-set... for now!

Hi everyone! I just found the Bluegrass Forum. My name is Debbie/KyanaBelle (either is fine!) and I'm a Louisville native who has been on the move for most of my life. I went to high school in Hopkinsville, KY, had one son in Lexington (where my dad's side of the family is from) and another in Cincy, OH. I'm back home in Louisville after a 35 year absence. I'm a prematurely retired LPN and a "Mimi" to five precious grandbabies.
I've been a chain-smoking analog user for about 32 years. I am about to embark on vaping as soon as my juice and hardware arrives. I did quit smoking for 6 months once. The nicotine withdrawal was no problem for me. It was the throat hit and the hand work that I never got over mourning for. I don't see me having a problem switching to vaping cold turkey. I could be mistaken, but don't think I am. Time will tell! I did order my first batch of juice with 6 mg of nic, just in case. I also got 0 nic juice. I'm already planning for my first mod. I know I'm headed that direction! That will have to come a little later, though.
Nice to meet all these Bluegrass Vapers! I was wondering where you all were hiding. I couldn't believe, with the smoking rate of Kentuckians in general, that there were only two other Kentuckians on the Forums! Now I know where to find y'all!

Hi Debbie/KyanaBelle, I am Lisa/SpiritBerry, welcome to BluegrassVapers. We have a meetup once a month and would love to have you join us this month. We are meeting on the 25th at 1:00 pm. The place has yet to be determined, but it will be here the Louisville Metro area. We would be pleased to have you join us. We are a fun bunch and we usually spend 4-6 hours together and share stories, juices and ideas for mods and such. We also have the beginnings of a website Bluegrass Vapers and we are on facebook a little We are trying to get the word out, so bring your friends with you if you want.

I saw the meeting date. I am already committed to the Louisville NewsVine Vinemeet that weekend and I am helping to host, so they will miss me if I'm not there (and I'd probably get my .... kicked by the main host! 
) We got people coming in from around the country and we've never had a VineMeet in Louisville before, so it's kind of a big deal for NewsViners.
I definitely will be at future meetings though. I've checked the FB page and website. I'm painfully shy in person, but it does look like fun! Once I get comfortable with everyone, I usually come roaring out of my shell like a freight train.
