I am totally new to vaping and am thinking of purchasing the Volt starter kit. Any recomendations on which one to order I am thinking the standard kit but I notice it does not have a personal charging case included. Shoudl I go to the next level so I can have that item included.

Welcome, Sasha. I would get the one with the charging case. It does come in handy with the smaller batteries.

Hope this question doesn't sound to rdiculous but what do you use to transport around your ecigg when your on the go. With regular analog ciggs you just toss the pack in your purse but with this you can't really do that. Do they sell things to carry them in?

Yes, SI sells carrying cases...two sizes.

Hi Sasha and welcome to Voltville. I think you'll find the Volt an easy way to convert from tobacco. As far as which kit to order, I can only relate my own experience. I initially ordered the Mega PCC and used it daily, both to caryy my spare batteries and cartos. Over time I have found that the X2 case serves me even better. I allows me to carry six 78mm batteries, a USB charging adapter, a charging cable for X2 bateries, four X2 batteries, a couple of clearomizers and half a dozen CE3s. I rarely use the Mega PCC anymore since it does not allow me to carry CE3s which have become my standard delivery system for 78mm, and sometimes X2s, as well. I would suggest getting some additional spare batteries no matter what case system you decide on, having backs for backups of your backups is always a good idea in the world of vaping.

I am 10 days into vaping - have put down the analogs - started with prosmoke and although the product works just as it says it does - I'm not thrilled with it.

So on the advise and suggestions in the noob arena, I started an account at SI and have filled and emptied a shopping cart there a few times.

I'm almost ready to order. Almost because I don't want to order twice and there are products I would like that are not in stock - on sale but not in stock *eye roll*

My choices you ask? The 2x 1300 Rainbow battery (two of em) they're just soooo pretty. I'm hoping that the 1300's will keep me from having to swap batteries every couple hours.
The wall charger
clearomizers (have three colors picked.. not in stock)
diamond tip covers - again colors not in stock.. just clear

I looked at the nano and meh..and that ce3 thing - as a noob, I really do not want to deal with syringes (keeping up with a charger is plenty of accessory for me)

my analogs were misty menthol light 120's so a shortie e-cig just isn't cutting it - and this battery crapping out in two hours isn't making me happy either (the little prosmoke batts) - they will end up as my backups.

Congrats Opal, you are off to a great start! I think you have the right idea, just go with what you are comfortable with and I think you will be happier, you have time to try out all the other things later if you change your mind. Everyone hoarded any extra clearos because they were about to be discontinued but SI brought them back due to popular demand. They will be back, don't worry, but order quick when you see them in stock!

The diamond tips are for the 65 or 78 mm batteries--not the X2s (I wish!) they are being reworked and will be back.

Hi Opal and welcome to Voltville. There's always room for one more. Like you I started with a ProSmoke and almost ended up back on cigarettes because they performed so poorly, the I found Volt and SI. I can tell you that an X2-650 lasts me between four and eight hours and I am an almost continuous vaper. The problem I have with the X2 is that it is too heavy for "no hands" operation. It has a tendency to fall out of your mouth unless you're holding onto it. The 78mm batteries last me about three to four hours. I keep six in regular rotation so I'm never out of batteries, and if I ever do run out I have four X2-650s as well. Backups for the backups of your backups is a good rule to follow in vaping. There are clearomizers in matching colors that are designed for the X2 or can be use with a 78mm as well. In any case, enjoy your Volt equipment, it's helped many people get off of tobacco.

I was never a hold the smoke in my mouth person.. so going hands free isn't that much of an issue for me - maybe while steering around a corner while driving but I kinda like the holding something action.

Hi Opal i love my x2 1300 but like awesum said if you like to dangle an ecig from your mouth you can't. Other than that the x2's are great work horses I really like them along with my 78mm volts.

I still have my ProSmoke stuff 'cause I frustrated myself for over a month with it. In the end I was refilling the cartridges with liquid myself. They only hold about one tenth of a milliliter while a Volt cartomizer holds about a milliliter, ten times as much. The batteries only lasted me less than an hour.

Rule of thumb is a cartomizer and a 78mm battery last about the same amount of time, but that can depend on your vaping style as well as the specific liquid in use. For size comparison, a 78mm with a cartomizer is a little bigger in diameter than a cigarette an a little longer than a 100mm cigarette while the X2 is the diameter of a full sized cigar and the length varies depending upon whether it is a 65, 900 or 1300.

I ordered two kits from prosmoke.. (one for hubby) already have a replacement battery on the way and it's been less than two weeks. I'm still contemplating returning them.. and I really detest returning things - but that was a lot of $$ to us.
Now I'm re-thinking the volt size.. back to the website to see if they have 1300 mAh in not 2x..thin and long.. that's the goal

I thought the same thing too before I got one. I use my 1300 at home and my 650's for everywhere else.
