a 900 mah X2 is exactly the size of a sharpie pen (a teensie bit thicker), if that helps you. the 1300 would be a bit longer,,,,,,it's not that big, you get used to it VERY fast, and the advantage is not having to charge every two hours. I  mine.

ETA: WITH a regular cartomizer on it, the 900 is the same length as a sharpie pen,,,,,I realized what I had posted was confusing.

Can anyone tell me what cartomizers are compatible with the Volt aside from the Smokeless Image. I am wondering if you can use other cartomizers from other brands or if you have to stay with just Smokless Image cartomizers.

Any cartomizer, atomizer, clearomizer or CE style devicw with an 808 thread will work with the Volt system. Smokeless Image cartomizers are among the best in the industry because of the horizontal coil and their resistance is selected to be optomized for vapor and flavor when used on Volt batteries. You can always order "blank" or unfilled cartomizers and add any liquid you might want to try or use.

I can't speak from direct experience, other than with Smokeless Image equipment. From my experience I think I can say that any delivery system that has an atomizer coil with a resistance of about 2.6 to 2.8 ohms will work well with the Volt. Bloog may work quite well, I haven't used them though so I can't really say. I can say that lower resistance ones will shorten vape time and, possibly, shorten battery life as well due to the heavier load. If they are very low resistance the protection circuit inside the battery may actually shut the battery off and no vapor will be produced.

Welcome Sasha and Opal!

Come on in and sit a spell!

I am totally new to vaping and am thinking of purchasing the Volt starter kit. Any recomendations on which one to order I am thinking the standard kit but I notice it does not have a personal charging case included. Shoudl I go to the next level so I can have that item included.

Thanks so much! Love this forum.

hi
I am 10 days into vaping - have put down the analogs - started with prosmoke and although the product works just as it says it does - I'm not thrilled with it.

So on the advise and suggestions in the noob arena, I started an account at SI and have filled and emptied a shopping cart there a few times.

I'm almost ready to order. Almost because I don't want to order twice and there are products I would like that are not in stock - on sale but not in stock *eye roll*

My choices you ask? The 2x 1300 Rainbow battery (two of em) they're just soooo pretty. I'm hoping that the 1300's will keep me from having to swap batteries every couple hours.
The wall charger
clearomizers (have three colors picked.. not in stock)
diamond tip covers - again colors not in stock.. just clear

I looked at the nano and meh..and that ce3 thing - as a noob, I really do not want to deal with syringes (keeping up with a charger is plenty of accessory for me)

my analogs were misty menthol light 120's so a shortie e-cig just isn't cutting it - and this battery crapping out in two hours isn't making me happy either (the little prosmoke batts) - they will end up as my backups.

Update: battery died at 9:25 p.m. (my time), so got almost 11 hours today. Hope it continues like this. :)

Yesterday I received a new juice that is absolutely heavenly. Never thought I could like something more than my 3-year favorite watermelon. Today I was vaping my face off. Could not put it down. So my 650 battery lasted about 8 hrs today, but that is just SUPER for a 650mah. My 900mah should be here Thursday or Friday. I'm happy to be a new Voltie.

Dropping in to say a Big Texas "Howdy!"

Been vaping for about a month and I am enjoying it immensely.

Started off on a Volt 78auto and quickly picked up a 650 X2. I am using both depending on where I am and what I am doing. My work is usually in the public eye, so when I steal away for a few puffs I sometimes don't want it to look much different than regular smoking.

Anyhow, a big thanks to SI and imagine for having some fantastic CS.

Ciao!
