I smoked for 25 years. I tried a evod with mt3. Made me cough everytime. Well I got worst 3 packs a day for another year. To the point where I couldn't talk to someone without coughing so hard that a little tinkle would come out. I said this has to stop. So I got some chantix an a blu. Used the blue for about a week. Couldn't find cherry tanks so I thought lets dig out that vape pen found the nasty buck naked liquid I got at the gas station an bam. I was off the stinkies. I love it. Evod an a mt3. I guess I needed to get some of the coughing out of my system. I think you have to have your mind made up not to smoke cigrits

Smoked ~42 years
Never planned to quit again after multiple tries failed.
Then I had health issues that ended up with my hands bad enough that I was dropping lit cigarettes on me, on the furniture, on the floor, etc. and I had to quit before I set myself or the house on fire. (Then 3 months later had a chimney fire that totaled the house.)

I was lucky enough to find ECF before I spent any money and asked about what might work for someone with wonky hands.

I ended up getting two Innokin VV v3s a Kanger Unitank (basically a top fill protank) and some evods, etc.
Started at 18 mg which sort of worked, but didn't quit all the way until I got 26 mg.
MTL then and still.

Over the last 3 years I tried a number of 'bigger and better' setups, but they never worked well with my hand problems. Somewhere in there I found the Anyvape Davide clearo, and liked the airy draw.

I did start DIY liquid, and am now mixing at ~16-18 mg. I tried cutting back, but that didn't work out for me.

I ended up as a confirmed tootle-puffer, so my stockpile for the vapocalypse is a bunch of VV v3s and a bunch of Davides and a couple of liters of nicotine. I'm also stocking up on the protank coils that the davide uses. I doubt I'll be any good at making coils, but I've got a jig and am getting some more wire just in case, and am trying to pick an RTA that's easy to use.

And a drawer full of the 'bigger and better' mods, and my protanks, mini-protanks, evods and other experiments as additional backup.
I use the kanger coils an pop these in $2.04 Free Shipping Pre-made Wires and Wicks for Atomizer (50-Pack) (2.4ohm, 33 AWG, 1-Wick: 50-Pack) at m.FastTech.com

Ain't that the truth. I miss coffee. But god it tastes so nasty to me now.
You stopped coffee too? That's hardcore. I still have to have my morning pot of coffee with my vape.

I remember trying Chantix after a good friend of mine stopped smoking with it. I did the "keep smoking until about 1 week you feel you don't want one anymore". All that happened was I lost all desire for coffee. Still smoked with no issue. Needless to say those went into the trashcan.

I'm with you - I tried to go without it for a few weeks - but I was just more of an ....... and hard to wake up lol
I can drink 3 or 4 cups for a few days, then cut back down to just the morning cup with little problem, but try taking that morning cup away - my body says NO WAY! lol

I quit initially with blu - stuck with it for a few months before quitting completely (blu was a hassle...) then after a move to my in laws, waiting for our house to sell, the stress from the move with a 3mo and smelling them smoking in the garage was enough for me to want to relapse, so I found vaping again, and the evolution to eGo was exciting :) I bought a few egos, and a few tanks, but my favorite tank was the Evod - which is similar to the MT3 iirc.

Now .... is just ridiculous - I'd love and hate being a vaper starting out now... So many choices... but then again, everything is so CHEAP! (compared to what it was.. and compared to smoking). I set my neighbor up with a Joyetech AIO with a bottle of juice and a pack of coils for like $30... My first eGo setup cost me like $70... and you had to have two.. lol

Coffee it good for you anyway...in moderation. It's a liver tonic, and loaded with minerals...as long as it's not ptooey instant in a jar sitting around for months (and that's not coffee imo)
Coffee snob... Folgers Freeze Dried bulk purchased from costco FTW!
Just kidding... i'm High Class with the 3lb can of Kirkland Colombian grounds in my freezer ;)

My mods are quite cheap but im guessing yours look really cool! :)
My money aint exactly flowing atm so cant spend high end prices, although ive seen a few with leather which is very appealing as you wouldnt have too worry about paint peeling
I'm a total cheapskate in some aspects of my vaping.. but not so much in others (though, I only have 1 mod that cost me over $100.. my REO) - DIY Juice for about $1/30ml... rebuilding my own coils ($8 spool of temco, and $12 bag of cotton.. wire spool lasts me about a year, cotton i've only bought once about 2 years ago and I still have a good chuck left lol).. all that so I can afford to buy new mods and atomizers a few times a year (usually chinese made) :)

A spot on my lung in a chest Xray got me off of tobacco. It was last April. When I walked out of the Drs. office I threw the 1/2 pack of cigarettes that were in my pocket away. That was 9 months ago. I've not considered tobacco since.
I had the upper lobe of my right lung removed in July... cancerous. The 33 lymph nodes they removed from the same area were all negative.
I've been vaping now for those 9 months. Follow up visits to the Oncologist all proved me to be cancer free.
I now find my craving the nicotine in vapor to be just as strong as tobacco. I hope to stop it all some day.
