No, they wouldn't. You said "Have you tried ALL products made in china" stating that he couldn't possibly know that most are crap. I haven't watched all reality TV shows, but I know most are crap. I haven't lived in a mud hut, but I know they would all be uncomfortable. I haven't used ALL netbooks, but I know that none would be good for making complex music or doing video editing. You are obviously blinding yourself to prove a point, which isn't really conductive to the conversation.

I think you're looking for an argument. Are all reality tv shows crap? I used to think so but after researching a bit - no, I don't think so anymore. But they aren't ecigs - and you do keep trying to shift away form the actual point of discussion. Thousands of people have got off cigarettes using Ego twists. Thousands of them. Thousands more are happily vaping Spinners, Vamos, and a bunch of other devices. The posts I most appreciate on this forum are the ones where people who faced serious health issues have managed to quit smoking and are vaping instead. That's the real issue. And what you call "crap" is what has changed their lives. I guess value is in the eye of the beholder.

Like Busardo says, whatever keeps you off the cigs is the best pv out there. No matter where it's made.

That's it in a nutshell Eric - and given the real threats we face as vapers worldwide in terms of govts that seem intent on making it harder for us, I think that's where we should stand united.

I'm looking for an argument? Others have stated that you're doing exactly the same thing. And when the comment was made that "most products made in China are crap" and you responded "have you tried all Chinese products" the OP who said that WASN'T talking about e-cigs and PVs, so I'm pretty sure you weren't either. And your comment about ordering a US PV because you "wanted to try a bottom feeder" sounds rather anti-American, unless I'm misunderstanding the comment. So aren't you really insulting American made products the same way the OP was insulting Chinese products?

And yes, I'm sure a Chinese e-cig is better than an analog, but that doesn't mean someone looking for American products because they don't agree with whatever it is about Chinese manufacturing that they don't agree with, that they're advocating people not try e-cigs because the products are made in China.

 Bottom feeder is the type of mod. A term I picked up from the American users.

Hi gentlemen - This does seem like it is degenerating into yes it is is - no it isn't sort of a deal here.

Frankly, the guy who invented this device is/was Chinese, isn't he? Wouldn't it be natural for the Chinese to be leaders in this field??

I guess I think that without the Chinese there just wouldn't be e-cigs and that the people working in many of these factories are better off than when they lived in pretty close to abject poverty. Poverty is no fun. There is no money for medicine and the food isn't great either.

American made is fine if you can find it and can afford it but with many of us Americans not being filthy rich, then we do have to shop based on price as well.

First off, I am very happy since I started vaping about a month ago. I don't miss analogs at all, I feel healthier and I have heard so many success stories of 2 pack-a-day smokers who switch to e-cigs and never look back. I believe that it is the best way to quit the dirty habit.

The problem I have is that all available hardware is manufactured in China. I am an American, I love my country, and I buy Made in USA products whenever possible. Through my experience, anything made in China is garbage andI feel that buying Chinese products supports slavery. Yes I am an hypocrite because I love my joytech 510 but at least I buy juice from US vender (HHV). I bet the worst American juice will still be better then the best Chinese juice.

I am shocked that people complain about the quality control of the manufactures. What do you expect? Its made in China by oppressed people making 35cents an hour.

Please feel free to critisize my rant. I don't have anything against Chinese people or global trade, just the governments who alows the exploitation of their people.

And yes, I'm sure a Chinese e-cig is better than an analog, but that doesn't mean someone looking for American products because they don't agree with whatever it is about Chinese manufacturing that they don't agree with, that they're advocating people not try e-cigs because the products are made in China.

Really, like basically saying if you buy them you support slavery, despite the fact that the ecig jobs are highly sought after.
And yes, you definitely came looking for an argument. You seem quite irked actually.

No...just pointing out that your comments throughout this thread seemed extremely defensive and argumentative. Just thought someone should provide some sort of counter point to some of the logical fallacies used to prove your points.

And actually, MANY of the products we buy support slavery. It doesn't mean on a personal level you support slavery, it just means that we support it financially, just as we support war with tax dollars even though we don't always agree with it, and we support terrorists with oil purchases, etc..
