so what is the advantage or attraction from one to the other.....just size preference?

Yes, just size, and the designs are different, the mini has scallops and the full size has circular engravings. The battery life is shorter on the mini, using the 18350. The full size can use an 18500 or 18650 with the extension. With the mini you can use the 18350, the 18500 with the extension and you can buy after market tubes to run an 18650.

Please! The proper terminology is "teardrops" for the mini, and "Crop Circles" for the full sized.

LOL

So back on track a bit.
I was visiting a friend last night/this morning and we were talking about gear. He's had a Zmax about 6 months now, well the threading is going, not an uncommon complaint, but his is still burning a few seconds after he lets off the button, a new one to me!
So that's $50 for six months, all in all not bad and I guess if you need/want new gear regularly, I guess that's great? He's also bought 4 MVP's for him and his family and I was telling him I was reading reports of them dying after 5-6 months, which as he said "Well, with four of them in the house, it should be a pretty good test to their longevity!" He's right, and I'm curious to see how it comes out! Again, he paid $34, so no biggie.
But I've had my Provari over a year now, had to send it in once, my fault for leaving a carto tank full of juice on it while I played with mechanicals for a month, my fault entirely, cost me around $7 to ship it, but they fixed it for free!
I don't know about the OP, I don't even know about my buddy, but I know I got tired of throwing away junk and I wanted the most durable piece of gear that I could get my hands on! I researched and found the Provari. I don't know of another variable device on the market that you can throw on the floor, pick it up and vape on it, but I can with the Provari. That's what makes it so special to me!

although I dont have my provari yet. It will be here on monday. For a long time I had a hard time justifying spending 200 dollars on a device either. But in 6 months I have killed one zmax v3 telescope and the remaining one I have all the threads are just garbage. The play in the 510 connection is absured its so loose you have to play with everything you put on it to just get it right.

So how did I justify spending 200 dollars? Quality, the fact that I tend to drop things a lot and I have a 3 and 5 year old running around constantly I need a tank of a device if its every going to last. I hear good things, and honestly the provari pretty much has a cult following around here, so its gotta be worth the cost right?

In 6 months alone on two zmax's that 100 bucks right there, then I had a few others that have been inherited by friends and family. Such cheap mods I wont even mention what they where. So if I had bought a provari in the first place, not that I would have because of price. I would have spent my 200 bucks on one reliable device instead of a bunch of crap ones that are all dead minus my last zmax that has sloppy 510 connection, a cracked screen, misfires ect....

Once I get my provari im sure it will last, its been seen over and over here and elsewhere. That paired with a nice mech mod im not sure I have decided on I wont need anything else. Sounds like money well spent if you ask me.

Im not going to sit here and justify it to anyone, its your choice buy crap, or buy something thats gonna last. So its just VV who cares, I have never to this day seen anything so special about VW and I dont really need it.

Plus Im so excited to get away from this rattlesnake of a device. You all know what im talking about. A nice high filter on the Provari gets rid of that crap, with nice smooth power output. I wish we could just put this whole "Justify buying a provari for me" In one thread, a new one pops up every few days....

I hope it works out for you. I have a vamo 2 and it is just horrible. The fire button does not always fire. The batteries drain right away. I got better satisfaction on a kgo at 18 dollars. The vamo cost 40 and is worth about 10.

I have a v3 VAMO and an 18350 lasts almost two days on a single charge, you must have gotten a dud...happens often with Chinese tech.

GREAT name, Denali. Not only is it an awesome piece of nature, but it's also one of my favorite mods of all time. I wasn't worthy of it, and had to let mine go, but it's NOT because I didn't ADORE it.

All that being said, jumping on The Ocelot is less advised that hating on Provari. She might even have more fanboys than it (present company included), which also might be good information for you to know. As others have indicated, a "hater" she is NOT.

Proceed with caution - and have 100% confidence that what might have been inferred was definitely NOT implied.

Humor is everywhere, if we choose to see it.

i had 3 of them at one time, the threading on that version was total crap so i sold off all of them,i now have a V2 and am still hunting the extremely elusive V1

I'm guessing a local dealer will not only be more expensive, they will offer a smaller selection of colors and other options. On the other hand, you can form an impression just by holding one in your hand. You can also have it as soon as the money changes hands. If and when the money comes along, I'm going with Provape directly, but that's just me.
