I do the brakes on all of our vehicles. Last time I took the wife's Suburban in they quoted me $1200 to replace the rotors, pads, and one caliber that was sticking. I bought all the parts for around $200 and did it with the help of a friend of mine. After he showed me how easy it is to do, I've been doing them ever since. You can get a set of ceramic pads for around $20, rotors about $40 a piece, and a rebuilt caliber for less than a $100. I've got it down now where I can do the pads and rotors on all four wheels in about two hours. I'll never pay someone to do brakes again...

The pads for the my oldest daughter's focus were $40 and I think the ones for the youngest were around $30. I didn't have any brake grease so had to buy some. They tried to sell me a little packet for $1.60 that might not have been enough to do one job so I bought a bigger bottle that will probably last me the rest of my life.

You guys have me thinking on the brake jobs. I've always imagined getting done and have those noisy brakes at the end where I'd have no idea how to fix. I've looked at several videos in the past and it seems like there are different set ups depending on manufacturer.

I finally got the rest of my northerner order today. It was delivered to work. It had been a long time since I'd tried it but like the jakobssens melon. It could possibly be a replacement for the thunder raspberry unless they quit making it too.

Thanks Roth. I was thinking that eventually they would try to get me to take a refund but I didn’t want it. I got the snus on sale cheap and wanted it. It’s really pretty good. I may be jumping the gun on finding a replacement since I’ve got about 30 cans of raspberry in the freezer but it helps to break up the monotony of the same two every day.

I did see a couple raspberry things and "it will be back in stock soon."

    Here's hoping.

Also I may have to get some more suns and I don't want to be all wasteful with shipping.

Anyone try the "Truly white" snus (seems to be the next bit hit) and does it have enough alkaloids and whatnot, and is it "truly white" because it seems like something I ought to mainly have, then.

I went through a can of Lyft blueberry and currently into a can of Lyft Lime, both regular strength "all white" "nicotine pouches."

The flavor on both is really good, not sweet/candy like. The long slim portions are comfortable in the upper front. The nic hit is harder/faster than traditional snus in my experience.

But... the flavor and nic dissipate rather quickly. With traditional snus I'll get between 2 and 2.5 hours per portion, the Lyft I have to replace after 45 minutes to an hour. It's also less satisfying, I'm guessing it's a lack of the tobacco alkaloids.

It's good and I'll use the rest of what I bought, but I most likely won't buy again. Having to use over twice as many portions is a deal breaker for me.

These were actual tobacco that had been purified somehow. Alkaloids were not as intense as brown, but they were there.

I can't find anything on *exporting* tobacco. It just doesn't happen. But I can pop these in the post. Have been frozen since I got them. And IIRC these slipped through customs untaxed.
I bought a roll, when rolls were slipping through but cans weren't. But don't like it.
