They are still not really sure where it will hit, as you can see from the cone, it could hit anywhere from the tip of Florida to Georgia. By Saturday they should have a better grasp of it's path. The stores are already running out of lots of stuff, gas stations are packed, Lowe's was almost out of propane this morning when I exchanged 6 empty tanks for full ones (have 14 total for my generator). One of the real drawbacks to living in Florida.

Around here, you can get propane at most welding supply places too

You can get them filled here for less, but they were out all of date, so I had to do the exchange. If power goes out, they will fill them even if they are out of date, but if not, they won't fill an out of date tank.

Anyone not getting notifications of posts in here via email. I was surprised to see all the activity.

I spent the week detailing my 2000 S2000, my uncle's 2012 Nissan and my mom's 2000 Chevy Prism. Ever since I got the shiny Escape, I kept looking at how bad the other three looked.

They all had been let go and were disgusting from all the crap that hits in the Spring. I foamed all of them a couple weeks ago which got me down to paint but very dull paint.

I clay barred, compounded and polished all three and then applied
CarPro Reload Spray Sealant and they came up looking as good as they could but I'm not sure how that is going to hold up. I ordered some TLC as I keep reading and seeing stuff that made the product look interesting like using in on your windows and interior.

I was a bit disappointed that the plastic side view mirrors have the paint coming off on my S2000. I even got on Youtube to see how to pull them off and re-paint them. I also noticed all the new cracks in the top which is an expensive replacement. Also, the leather on one panel of the driver's seat needs replacing.

You’ve been busy. I thought about stopping at the car wash on my way home but drove right by. Mine could use a wash and coat of wax. I haven’t been doing a good job of keeping it up this year. It’s hard to believe I’ve had it seven years already. I wonder when my boss will have me trade in. I don’t do very many service calls any more so don’t have that many miles on it.

LOL, this year, for mine it has been multiple. My uncle had his white Versa for three years before he passed. It never looked dirty and he never washed it. A week after being here and it was already dirty. Living in the woods is hard on a car that never sees a garage.

They said that they are not banning "tobacco flavors". In the world of vaping, there are a lot of "tobacco" flavors that taste nothing like tobacco and more like candy. They can't keep you from buying your own flavors to add to liquid from bull city,wizard labs, nicotine river, chefs flavours, etc.
I'm pretty much self sufficient at this point. I've got 5 liters of 100mg nic in the freezer and have been mixing my own liquids for at least a couple years now.

That's amazingly good news for the tobacco industry. Michigan should be happy. From our prospectus, it's an inconvenience for now. Typical politician though. Rather than establishing what has gotten these kids sick, they pass legislation. Rather than looking at the data, over ten years of none of this happening, something is different. My guess is some illegal concoction that the kids are getting high off of but what do I know.

Weird this comes up after all those headlines of vaping making people sick. If you actually read the articles it's people buying bootleg "other stuff" off the street. But no, save the children...

Waho, I believe that is the reaction to those getting sick. Instead of dealing with the root cause of those getting sick, they're attackingg flavors as if that will stop kids from vaping. Now you have them vaping tobacco flavors so when they crack down on e cigs, they'll be used to the taste of tobacco so cigarettes won't be so bad.

I just got a letter from Silver Script, the mail order company that delivers drugs. They outsourced case review work and appeals. What caught my attention-

"ATTENTION: If you speak English, language assistance services, free of charge, are available to you."

Well isn't that special!

The ban doesn't affect me really, I've made my own juice for years now. But I feel for folks like my old UAW committee rep at the foundry. He quit smoking after 40+ years with a grape flavored juice. He's not likely to make his own juice if he can't get his grape flavor legally. MI apparently needs him back on analogs for the tobacco settlement money.

All he'd need to do, without getting fancy, is buy unflavored e liquid abd get a grape flavored concentrate and decide how strong he wants the flavor. You don't have to be a mixologist to bypass flavor restrictions.

The problem is that there's probably 50 different grape flavors out there and often times people want something that is the same as what they had.

Took my truck in for tires since two of them on the front were pretty bad and causing a fair amount of vibration at speed. Not to mention they were the original 2010 tires from the factory and fairly dry rotted.

Ended up having to do all new ball joints, tie rods, and shocks/struts. They didn't look too bad last time I did brakes, but pothole season this year was insane.

The door moldings were letting go and trapping water so I removed them and took a clay bar to all the little spots of surface rust.

Hopefully that's all it needs for a while, I had to take money out of my personal "strike fund" since this contract cycle looks like it's going to be rocky.

Did you do the shocks and struts yourself or have it done at the garage? I've never done those before. My oldest daugter's car is making a bit of a clunk noise here and there and the shop said she needs a new rack and pinion but it's ok to drive for now. She just started working after graduating and am going to wait to see what she wants to do. I'd rather see her trade into something new instead of putting another 1200 into her 05 focus. It's up to her though since I've got the youngest in college now and can't really afford to pay for it for her.

I couldn't believe the latest on vaping and all the news about stopping vaping. This latest one in Texas I believe said the guy took one hit off some girl's vape pen and went down. The collected her right after the episode. Whatever was in that device shouldn't take long to determine what was being used. In fact, with so many cases, the government should know darn well what's going on but all the news is stop vaping.

She is working at a cracker barrel restaurant to make money and also got an internship at a local theater. The internship doesn't pay so she had to find a job that was flexible on hours. She's done three or four auditions since she has been home and has more coming up. She also joined a local acting group where they are going to do some short films. Acting is a tough line of work in my opinion. Not knowing what is going to happen next would drive me nuts.
