The REO grand built a lot better with quality parts and will last a lifetime. It's worth every penny.

I don't own a REO but I think they look nice....however I do own a vmodxl and LOVE it. I love that the juice well is INSIDE the body so I have NEVER accidentally spilled the reservoir of juice on my mod because IT JUST WON'T HAPPEN. And as far as lasting a lifetime....have you not seen the video on YouTube of a vmodxl being run over by a pickup truck and still vaping like a champ and NOT losing its shape nor falling apart in any way?!?!

And maybe more to come --- the now released re-design of their atty to shi-fu spec (or slant coil) it a great advance.

This is from their site:

The first release of the Vmod Xl worked with the flat tops but, needed a spacer to keep from having to push the fire button to the max. The later releases must have a slightly longer fire button. I recently bought one in the classifies and it works great without the spacer......

will flat top batteries work on the v mod xl?

I have one and I absolutely love it. I always carry 2 mods with me, my XL, and a Diamond mod from Parkes Vaping. Don't get me wring, the Diamond is a great little mod at a fantastic price, but I find myself grabbing the XL more often. Is it the best bottom feeder on earth? It's my first bottom feeder, so I can't speak to that. However, I feel absolutely no need to try another, so that says a lot right there.

I have used multiple bottom feeders and always come back to the vmod xl every time. At this point it is the most consistent bf mod out there especially with silo cartos and at the price for the mod and supplies you can't go wrong. I vape at 6 volt with 2.8ohm silo cartos and stacked 3v tenergy life po4 and always have a good consistent power vape. I use it exclusively with another xl as a backup and a different bottom feeder for a third backup just to mix things up once every 6 months.

Same here. Always have my XL with me. Tried twice to go XL free and just doesn't feel right.

Have tried other bottom feeders but have grown so used to gravity feeding that all that bottle pushing is irritating.

I usually just use lr options but have a Kick and the 4.8 volt battery's if I fancy moving things up a notch or two.

Does anyone know if the VModXL with work with the Chalice BF RA? I'm sure I would have to leave the cone off if it would. I read earlier in this thread that the VMod will feed a closed center post atomizer, which says to me that it feeds through the air intake holes that are just above the threads on the atomizer connector. If that is the case, I don't think the Chalice has those holes, since its airhole is in the upper body.
