I put a little trash talk logo on mine. Just to give it a little edge.

they look great!!!!! i should look into getting some of that stuff... where do you buy it at?? and a big thank you to your hubby for going out into the rain to get it so you could take a pic for me!

Actually I own a vinyl graphics business, so I have hundreds of yards of the stuff. We have 21 different solid colors, albeit the Etched Look wouldn't do much for decorating a PV. All our vinyls are glossy and the Shiny Chrome and Mirror Gold are very very shiny. I've got a present (nothing much) I'm sending for you two so I'll put in some pieces of the different colors for you so you can play.

Not sure how easy it is for a regular person to just buy small amounts. You might be able to find sheets or small amounts on eBay. Or a hobby store since they sell the Circut cutters for scrapbooking. Not sure the quality or type of vinyls they use though.

I wish I had discovered e-cigs two months before I did. We used to make printed vinyl skins for computer cases and laptops, but it's very time consuming and took up a lot of space in our small shop. Since die cut car decals are our big money maker, we dropped the printed line of items and sold off our equipment the beginning of Nov. If I still had the equipment I could be making e-cig skins in fancy designs, but all things happen for a reason and that wasn't meant to be.

Not sure how well a skin would work on the Chameleon though with it needing to come apart and the button on it. It can be done, but getting it on would be tricky, well at least for me LOL I make hubby do all the tricky stuff.

For an idea what I do, this is my truck, the Majik 2. There's a fairy on the hood, but I don't have any pictures of her yet.

Yes, thank you, we call it our blade dragon. The fairy on the hood is the same style. This is a picture of her as a window decal. She's full size on the hood in the same Shiny Chrome

Wow That's beautiful Wway! Oh, what are the odds that you guys sold all of your printing equipment! haha You said it the best way, everything does happen for a reason. I can't believe that your sending us to play with! That is just the coolest thing ever! Thank you so much! :hubba:

I just priced carbon fiber vinyl, because someone mentioned it, somewhere and it would be cool on the Chameleon. It's high price as far as vinyl goes, it's $32 a yard at 30" wide, plus shipping. Of course that would cover a lot of Chameleons.

Oooo Very excited! What kind of cutting tool would/did you use?

Scissors? :p

Seriously, they probably used a vinyl plotter/cutter. But for our needs and the small simple rectangular shape, scissors would probably be just fine (or a metal straight edge and sharp exacto knife).

Well for the die cut decals we use 3 large vinyl plotter/cutters. The easy explanation is you take vector graphics, put them into the cut software, then the computer send the information to the cutter and tells it what to cut. For the attys I wraped, I used an exacto knife since it's just a little square piece. The vinyl is 2mil thick so it's easy to cut. Once on the atty I took the exacto knife and trimmed any excess off from around the top and bottom.
