I didn't know that the Earl 30 was a redesigned eleaf 20 that had fixed the problems with the 20 ie the output signal and connector threads. Are you sure? I thought they were just cloned or rebranded eleafs.

not sure where you found earl 30? EARL 2200mAh Variable Voltage but the earl is a new one to me....
i can't find the one I had looked at when ft first came out with clones (makes me wonder) because I was half tempted to buy it as it was set "correctly" and has a spring loaded 510 (never used one before but seems people swear by them) but the price was actually more than the isticks were running for and then the long shipping wait made me not buy...
but anyways....my point being that yes sometimes "clones" can be better than authentic....I love my cloned vision ets and they are 1:1 exactly the same (interchangeable pieces) at half or less the price :D same with my protank clones ;)

onto more normal statement: being a single mom of 2 and just above poverty level....yep i'll take a "clone" any day after researching to make sure that it's a good product....i'd buy authentic (and have) if it's a good price :D

You missed the Buy last week.
MFS - 1 liter - $40.
:D

Save up. They do that a few times a year.

I didn't have any 30ml bottles to store it in -- besides, I wanted to try out this "throat hit nicotine" from Vaperstek; that's the 120ml on the way; if I like it (and I'm pretty sure I'll love it!), I may get a liter next time. Though I'd need a buttload of 30ml bottles for a liter!

I meant the Earl 20 (typo). Yeah I agree some clones are better than originals, but I just don't think the "cloned" 20's or better than the istick20 originals. All istick originals can be found with good pricing.

Never heard of it. Is it made by eLeaf?

Little out of the loop aren't ya?
SMPL mod by Epic. Awesome design. Very popular. Company ran by amateurs. Lately a few have had sketchy threads, and switches needed modding.
Par for the course with many authentics , which you can pay a premium to experience.

I feel for you guys if stripped threads and inaccurate power delivery is the new standard...
Don't need your feelings. I own an istick 30 with neither of those problems. I have 2 of the 50's on order also. There are those who really like their 20's as does my wife. I doubt that any of those need your feelings either. :)

Every review I've read of my "Fallen Angel" (EA Mod clone by EHPro) says it is actually BETTER quality than the original Electric Angel -- I know there are some updates of the original EA design, so maybe they've improved it, but apparently the machining and threading of the Fallen Angel is far superior to that of the Electric Angel -- which costs about $100 instead of $40-ish, and which was itself a clone of a GG mod, so maybe THAT one is superior, but since it costs a freaking fortune, I'll never know. And my knowledge of that particular mod is fairly sketchy, since I've never actually seen it on sale ANYWHERE; the very few places that actually carry it, have always been out of stock when I'd go www-rampaging for info about it.

I will give you why I bought a clone in the beggining but also why I won't be in the future.

A friend of mine wanted me to get in to vaping and get off the death sticks. So with a little resistance I decided to try it out again now that the technology has evolved. Although I wanted to vape I didn't know if it would work for me because those cig-a-likes I tried years back didn't and were almost a waste of money/time. So being that I didn't know if I wanted to try it, or invest the time into researching all of the products available I found a clone VW mod that people spoke highly of an bought it. Turns out I love vaping and want to support the community, so I recently bought two authentic devices after I accidently destroyed the clone I modified.

So, yea I willingly bought a clone for 50$ but it also got me in to vaping, and I'm really not financially sound right now. So I have no regrets in doing that, but I won't be doing it again.

I love when these pop up every so often....
why limit it to vaping?
Same could be said really for any electronic out in the market?

OK let's see... Flat screen TVs are all the rage; so where are the clone samsungs?

Or cloned Yamaha AV receivers? Clone Kenwood car stereos? Clone iPhones?

Personally I don't see any examples to support or give merit to your argument.

They don't see the difference between products which have the same function and products which are made to look exactly the same, with the same logos, packaging and name...

Are you insecure?
I have noticed you seem driven to down other peoples freedom to choose as ignorance.
Just curious. :)

All those items have already been "cloned". A "cloned" item is the same as an "counterfeit" item, but is sold with out the deception of a "counterfeit" and at a fraction of the cost. Nike, Alpine, Clarion, Tiffany, Apple, Rolex, Gucci, Levi's, Kitchen Aid, Pampers, Hanes and the list goes on.....
