just a thought... since the aqua V3 was "never made" ( only a design) then the company who did make it and put it on the market has the original authentic V3 ...

What he is saying is that JDTech denied his warranty claim even though the mod was authentic and wanted to charge him high prices to fix it. Many vendors of clones offer superior service for mods that cost $200 less.
so instead of shelling out another $250 for an authentic stingray which might have machining issues and has poor customer service from the authentic manufacturer, poster decided to replace the authentic by buying two good clones, which have no issues and are working perfectly.

Yes I am aware that fastech is a vendor and offers authentics... but they are the ones selling this "non-functioning" atty (didn't anyone test it?)! So yes the jokes is on them!
Dealing with their Support Department, I don't believe anyone there even Vapes. However they are very responsive to Customer communications.
I would love to see 1/10th of the Vendors in the US treat buyers 1/2 as well - seriously, I would.

fasttech is huge and they sell almost everything, good or bad. It doesn't seem like a very good joke, since Footoon designed it (and has done poorly designed expensive vape gear before). I wouldn't spend the $15 to play with the clone, but I am sure that if it was a last resort, I could find a way to make it work by running a positive coil lead to the center pin and having the negative on the outside of the insulator (kind of like how aspire or kanger makes the coil heads for their clearomizers). I would probably modify the airflow too. So, its not like throwing $15 away, it just requires some user alterations. But yes, it would be a hassle. I'm not sure how making blueprints for an Aqua that is designed so poorly though helps the image of the Aqua RTA. Stupid idea for a joke.

Maybe you guys missed the point of the Footoon Aqua V3... according to Footoon they designed this non-functioning atty just for the cloners as a "Screw the Cloners" move.
Guess what, the cloners took the bait and cloned it... and now the jokes on them and all the folks selling it. It's all over the footoon fb page. FastTech just happens to be the first online retailer offering it for sale! I take it from posts on footoons fb page that Mr. Footoon has a bad relationship, or strong dislike for the cloners, and this was his way of getting even!

I guess I'm just cheap...but I refuse to pay $25 when a clone will do the same thing if you use the same coil...I'm talking tanks because I'm too impatient to use a dripper. I like to fill and use ...not drip, hit and refill over and over again...It's just a means to an end for me! I but authentic coils and good juices ( for me anyway.) I do have a Protank 2 & 3 and 2 Viva Nova S. This is about my price range. I have quite a few knock off with authentic coils and I locomoto all day long will no problems. I have the new Davide, but it sucks!

That's surely the story Footoon wants everyone to believe, after outsourcing parts for ANOTHER poorly designed Footoon product.
You see, fastech didn't make anything. The shop that was contracted by Footoon to make the atty, sold them to FT.

1 I don't think it was counterfeit due to fonts on the serial number on stingray x black and xti was same also on the counterfeit only thing deferent is the serial number fonts
2 they don't have clone of stingray xti yet or when I perched it.
3 of course I'm upset why do they even put in serial number if there not going to honor it? Also clones don't come with the pouch and black drip tip.

Clone appears on the vape market until the vape market appears. Here in Italy for example in 2012 there were a lot of shops they sold all the same things at hight price. Only one on four Vivinova was original. People who bought Vivinova didn't know the difference between clone or original and sometimes vendors didn't too.
The results was that the vivinova phalsiphicated was more sold at the same price of the original, but due the original was still good the clone (false) was bad. A lot of people returned to smoking cigarettes....

I wouldn't be able to tell, unless I held it. If you knew the weight of an original, it would be easy to verify. I suspect anything vape related on eBay is a fake...
