Why not just buy generic China mods with no logos or obvious stolen designs? They are all the same, right?

I wish they would stop with the logos also, clones AND authentic. Fact is given Choice of FREE mod, between an authentic with logo and 1:1 clone without. I would probably chose the clone. The "artwork" is the biggest turnoff in a mod to me. Don't mind a printed or engrave device.. It's just if you like the Mod but hate the art, you don't buy the mod you want. Wish all mods were available in Clean versions. And yes I do cut the logos off clothing.

I haven't chimmed in here in a few days... It's a fine line, but I'd say that LOGO=COUNTEFEIT and NO LOGO=CLONE

One of the reasons I QUIT smoking because affording it just kept getting harder and harder.

But I don't need a nanny of any sort to tell me what to do or not do because I can't afford it. When you're fighting a cigarette addiction, you have no choice, it's either smoke, or whatever else it is -- and if you're lucky, the whatever-else actually works -- like e-cigarettes, unlike every other whatever-else.

We certainly don't need more insensitive arrogant nannies to tell us what we OUGHT to do.

Calm down Andria, I know you've been stewing over this all night. :) Too bad money can't buy the intelligence to keep some people from making embarrassingly crude remarks. It's not arrogance, it's ignorance :)

I don't agree with stevegmu on many things....for example, I think fake boobs are AWESOME! But, I'll give credit where its due. He always states his opinion whether it be popular or not, elitist or not (I think the elitist act is just to get under your skin, he's a pretty good guy when he accidentally let's his guard down) whatever. He has a right to his opinion just like everyone else. What he doesn't do is engage in the bickering and name calling. He makes very pointed statements and doesn't get too emotional about it. I appreciate this because it drives everybody nuts and makes for an entertaining thread! My guess would be he's too busy to care what your vaping with just like I'm too busy to care what he's using. He's always fun!
By the way, I use both and I've never tried to pass off a fake as real. I will not lose a second of sleep worrying about what people think of my stuff.

That's cool as long as you don't get too ugly about it. Just be prepared for a response. Personally I like a little conflict, it stimulates your thinking.:)

Of course things from Fastech say made in USA or made in Germany. They are counterfeits...
My Kayfuns are made in Germany, my ProVari in the US- as are my shoes...

Which Kayfun? The original? Or the SM clone of the Russian?
With the Kayfun, the clone was so much better than the original, the original manufacturer cloned the clone.
So you DO support cloners.
;)

At 48, I've stopped being so choosy
I had a girl work for me long enough to get some implants and get her nose fixed and then she quit! I had a lot invested in her, Paid for sales training out of state, paid to get her certified as a personal trainer. I taught her in circuit training, she got her nose and boobs and quit. So I'm not a big fan of em. :)

I bought a Nemesis clone to "test the mechanical waters"...

Liked it so much I bought an original. the clone was 22 bucks, the origional was just short of 200.

The origional sits in my living room vaped for an hour a day.

The clone is my all day vape.

Then I bought a plume veil clone. Hated it! leaked all over the place.....stank to high heaven....gave clouds of great tasting vapor but the open draw wasnt for me.....

Spent 22 bucks on it too.

I buy clones to see if I like the design and If I do I vote for the origional by buying one.

Kayfuns are a whole different story though.

If the 99 dollar Kayfun Lite V2 was five times the atomizer that my 22 dollar clone is I'd buy one. (hint hint.....Its not!)

I do see a real V4 in my very near future though. Its a very good execution of an original design. The makers should reap some benefit.

IMHO YMMV

All my tanks are clones except the evod I got. They all work fine but I also dont know the difference. Thats all the local shop carries..sigh. but with anything I spent money one I look for quality over price u get what u pay for. But I do my homework if a clone is gonna funcrion the same without issues and be cheaper damn well sure ill go that route.

I have to disagree a bit here....... What we had before was a non confrontational discussion about why we buy clones, with some peoples opinions on why they don't. His blanket comments on clone buyers and what we should do came off as arrogant and closed minded, off base with reality, and possibly intentionally rabble rousing.
