and as for free market... heres a good example.... Kanthal A1 22-30ga. wire normal price 4-7$ for a 100' roll. B&M's sell the stuff for 1$ a foot ( for those who are mathematically challenged 100$ a roll
) if thats not price gouging...
a couple of cartons of ciggies is far from the price of lets say an authentic Skeleton Key mod and a Origen Genny V2 ( which comes to about 450$)
There are less expensive authentic mods...
There are less expensive authentic mods...
true but they are terrible in quality.... for example, take a look at the chat in the Kayfun 4 thread on the issues of the authentic version...
Very few. Average authentic price is around $180 for a mod and roughly the same for an RTA.
Of course now prices are dropping because people are becoming educated.
It's a flashlight.
Doesn't cost a fortune to thread soft brass or copper.
It's rudimentary work for any half a**ed machinist.
Supporting bad business models out of blind ignorance is why this industry is in shambles.
Oh, check the classies here for a sign of the times.
You can't give away authentic chi you's and kings.
Nemmys don't have any resale value anymore.
So you better love that authentic..... You'll be living with it for a while.
Flippers are pulling their hair out as I type this.
Common sense always wins out in the end.
User error. New vapers who should have learned on clearos jumping into 100watt box mods and RTAs...
Most things made in China, short of certain electronics, are of poor quality....
I don't sell things, ever...
if a device is made properly, user error would not influence the results since by design it would account for user error...
Don't forget that Chinese products are the main reason WalMart can employ and generously pay all those that can't get a job anywhere else but Micky D's![]()
According to data from our suppliers, items that are made, sourced or grown right here in America already account for about two-thirds of what we spend to buy products at Walmart U.S. But there is room to do more.
We are committed to American renewal. In January 2013, Walmart announced it will buy an additional $50 billion in U.S. products in 10 years in an effort to grow U.S. manufacturing and encourage the creation of U.S. jobs.
When you add up what we spend each year, our pledge is to buy an additional $250 billion in American products.

And just because some small US company decides to take a Hammond box and drill out openings for a 510 and a switch, put some magnets on the backplate, and then sell it for $200 as a custom mod doesn't mean that you aren't going to have problems with it. You don't always get what you pay for, especially in this industry. There are poor quality products all over the place, not just from China. There are also some really great products from just about everywhere. Research a little bit and you can find some great stuff.
Really? Some people can't even use iPhones...
Really? You believe that WalMart wouldn't supply anything but a 100% accurate report? Why do you think they put little American flags on their USA products so you can find them?![]()
Do you ever readnaivebetween the lines?Actually, yes, I do. There are so many anti-Walmarts who would love to catch them manipulating or manufacturing their business reports...
