Its less about price that it is for value. I own both authentic devices and clones, but I have a lot of clones. I am sure that I get more vapemail than most, but it appeases my addiction. Its not my job to compare the prices of mods to cartons of cigarettes. I am just going to research manufacturers of both clone and authentic and get the best device for the money that looks great and works great. It needs to please me, not anybody else. And a high quality perfectly working clone that I found at a great price puts a smile on my face. Its not my job to keep the small-run manufacturers in business. I will get what I think is the product with the highest value. And so manufacturers that can't offer what is desired by the masses will either need to adapt or step back and let the big manufacturers do what they do well.

But we have talked about all of this for 72 pages now. Here is a different prospect:
I currently have two complete new 100% authentic setups coming in the mail (mods and atomizers) that are different devices manufactured by A-Mod, Cigreen, or SMY... three huge clone manufacturers.
So does this make my purchase unethical? Since the affordable authentic devices that I purchased are supporting cloners?

There are less expensive authentic mods...

Very few. Average authentic price is around $180 for a mod and roughly the same for an RTA.
Of course now prices are dropping because people are becoming educated.
It's a flashlight.
Doesn't cost a fortune to thread soft brass or copper.
It's rudimentary work for any half a**ed machinist.

Supporting bad business models out of blind ignorance is why this industry is in shambles.

Oh, check the classies here for a sign of the times.
You can't give away authentic chi you's and kings.
Nemmys don't have any resale value anymore.

So you better love that authentic..... You'll be living with it for a while.
Flippers are pulling their hair out as I type this.
:D
Common sense always wins out in the end.

Tobeco is not releasing the RDA until after the China holiday. We put this up on our site a few days ago with no advertising and we have sold a TON of them. There is a video out there by vapingtwisted420 and this is really cool. This video can be located on his Facebook Page. It is good see Tobeco is venturing into their own designs for RDA's instead of cloning everything. We think we are going to see more and more of this from many other companies!

USE COUPON CODE TO GET THE BIGGEST DISCOUNT!
TURBO20OFF
$20.00 OFF THE RETAIL PRICE

Purchase The "Turbo" Now!

PLEASE NOTE! THIS WILL NOT RELEASE UNTIL TOBECO GETS BACK FROM THE SPRING FESTIVAL HOLIDAY. WE ARE ANTICIPATING A MID MARCH RELEASE BUT TOBECO IS INFAMOUS OF UNPREDICTABLE RELEASE OF NEW PRODUCTS! DO NOT ORDER IF YOU DO NOT LIKE TO WAIT AND ARE IMPATIENT!!

Most things made in China, short of certain electronics, are of poor quality....
I don't sell things, ever...

Don't forget that Chinese products are the main reason WalMart can employ and generously pay all those that can't get a job anywhere else but Micky D's :)

Really?

According to data from our suppliers, items that are made, sourced or grown right here in America already account for about two-thirds of what we spend to buy products at Walmart U.S. But there is room to do more.

We are committed to American renewal. In January 2013, Walmart announced it will buy an additional $50 billion in U.S. products in 10 years in an effort to grow U.S. manufacturing and encourage the creation of U.S. jobs.

When you add up what we spend each year, our pledge is to buy an additional $250 billion in American products.

And just because some small US company decides to take a Hammond box and drill out openings for a 510 and a switch, put some magnets on the backplate, and then sell it for $200 as a custom mod doesn't mean that you aren't going to have problems with it. You don't always get what you pay for, especially in this industry. There are poor quality products all over the place, not just from China. There are also some really great products from just about everywhere. Research a little bit and you can find some great stuff.

I didn't say most things not made in China are good, either, but if I had to choose between US, German or PRC manufacturing as a gauge of quality, PRC would lose every time...

Really? You believe that WalMart wouldn't supply anything but a 100% accurate report? Why do you think they put little American flags on their USA products so you can find them? :)

Actually, yes, I do. There are so many anti-Walmarts who would love to catch them manipulating or manufacturing their business reports...
