Most things made in China, short of certain electronics, are of poor quality....
I don't sell things, ever...
So according to you the Chinese can build the best selling, most advanced, highest quality personal computing devices (iPhone, etc) on the planet, but can't properly mill simple plumbing threads into a soft brass/copper tube?
Are you drunk?
Psst reinforced...
So, what is the moral difference between supporting a China company and supporting a company that controls a PRC facility?
Are you saying it is morally wrong to make products in one country and sell in another or buy products from another country? Or does that just apply to China?
Why isn't the thread titled "Attack everything Stevegmu says because I don't like his viewpoint, therefore he shouldn't have one" ? Geez folks

I own Snap-on, Bluepoint, Craftsman, Husky, Stanley, Klein, Mac, Channelock, SK, Thorson, Vise-Grip, Gedore, Greatneck and more including many made in China.
With tools you get what you pay for. No serious mechanic buys cheaper tools. Some won't buy Craftsman because they are not top quality and will not hold up like the higher priced brands. They are good for home use and light industrial or shop. I haven't kept up with tools and know there have been changes made since I last bought new ones. Since I have such a large collection, I only buy at flea markets and yard sales where you can get a 7/8" combination Snap-on for 1 or 2 bucks.![]()
