Most things made in China, short of certain electronics, are of poor quality....
I don't sell things, ever...

So according to you the Chinese can build the best selling, most advanced, highest quality personal computing devices (iPhone, etc) on the planet, but can't properly mill simple plumbing threads into a soft brass/copper tube?

Are you drunk?

You seem to think all manufacturing is equal and that tiny e-cig manufacturers have the same standards, access to raw materials and suppliers and QC as Apple does with FoxConn...

I've seen re enforced tubing made in China from one of the factories the company I work for runs. The difference between what they make and what I make is glaring, and it's only re enforced tubing...

Psst reinforced...

So, what is the moral difference between supporting a China company and supporting a company that controls a PRC facility?

The factory in China makes hose and tubing for the Chinese market. The factory I work at makes hose and tubing for N. America and Eurooe...

To be Honest with you, I don't think Steve would Mind. He is Pretty Secure in Himself. And it takes a Lot to get him Mad over something he Reads on the Internet.

Maybe a Little from Column "A". And a Little from Column "B".

LOL

Yeah, but far from a heated argument from anybody so far. One person got a little upset at Steve but he stays cool. I'm not arguing against him on his stand on clones. I manufactured fitness equipment (my 2 brands) and went to court over a company trying to make and market my stuff after I turned down 2 offers from them to buy me out. The funny thing is they tried to sue the company they were using to "clone" my stuff because they stopped production. They became suspicious of them not knowing enough about the machines and contacted me before the first order was completed. Long story short, they were stopped. Nobody won anything but they lost their investment and investors. :)

hmmmm okay... heres a good example of clones.. you can buy a 7/8" open end/box end wrench from Snapon for 34$ or the same daam thing from Craftsman, Husky, etc..... same function same design... for a price of 1/3rd or less.... if it does the same job as the higher priced tool, why spend more if it does the same thing?

this is the basis of clones... it does the same thing as the hi priced item but at a lower price..... and to add, how many of the authentic owners out there own snap on tools...? and if you dont own a set of Snap-on tools, your argument is invalid.. its a principle isnt it? It should apply to all things in your life, not just vape gear...

Keep calm.
Is only the inter webs.
:D

Stevegmu is trolling for the replies he gets.
He's trying to illicit a certain type of response.
He's just not a very good troll and we are just having a bit of fun with him....and I'm sure he knows it.

I own Snap-on, Bluepoint, Craftsman, Husky, Stanley, Klein, Mac, Channelock, SK, Thorson, Vise-Grip, Gedore, Greatneck and more including many made in China.
With tools you get what you pay for. No serious mechanic buys cheaper tools. Some won't buy Craftsman because they are not top quality and will not hold up like the higher priced brands. They are good for home use and light industrial or shop. I haven't kept up with tools and know there have been changes made since I last bought new ones. Since I have such a large collection, I only buy at flea markets and yard sales where you can get a 7/8" combination Snap-on for 1 or 2 bucks. :)
