Why Do People Knowingly Buy Clones?

I have the means to fill my house with stuff and hoard, but why? Is collecting counterfeit mods and attys a sickness?
Look, people are collecting vape gear. Its a hobby. Nobody is doing anything illegal, we are just having fun vaping. Why is there a need to make everyone feel like they are doing something wrong?
Supporting counterfeiters isn't wrong? I always hear price mentioned, but when one has $1000 in counterfeits, that argument is a bit of a joke...

Many of us here make six figures, but if we buy clones we're "kids".
The irony is, the authentic snobs mostly live in their mom's basement.
Legal vs. illegal has relatively little correlation with right vs. wrong.
But everyone can agree on what is legal vs illegal. Anything else is your personal opinion.
What the counterfeiters are doing would be illegal in the US, but somehow it is ok because it is being done in China and imported to the US...

Again, it's only counterfeiting if the fake is being passed as the real..... Which these clones are not. They are being sold as "panzer STYLE" "nemesis STYLE" etc. I know you are bright enough to know the distinction, so your fall back on that argument repeatedly can only be seen as trolling attempts.
As far as the "bobo shoes vs Nike" well, unlike many of the clone mods, the Nike and other name brand shoes ARE of higher quality then the WalMart shoes, so the comparison isn't valid. People will pay more for quality, but when there are clones with as good and sometimes better quality then an authentic, paying the authentic price tag is ridiculous.
