Just got 2 today and won't work with 26g or 28g. No small screws at the local hardware store either. Regretting I bought 2 of these.

I'm sure you can sell them on ebay without too much trouble, or on the classies. Lots of us would be happy to drop by the local hardware store and pick up a few SS set screws.

After fiddling with this some more #0132 won't hold, but #0201 will hold. Your local hardware store carries these tiny screws?

Goblin isn't the first to have bad post screws, I still have 98 of them left from McMaster, $6.78 + shipping for 100.

Completely forgot about that place. Both are 316.
McMaster-Carr Cup Point
McMaster-Carr Flat Point

And I have always returned the problem RTA's, this time I give up and will get the right part.

Interesting. I talked to a friend on FB who ran into the same problem I had. It's like the screw tips are "pointy" and will not allow the wire to be trapped under them. I'll give 26ga another go, but it didn't seem like it worked last time (couldn't trap the wire).....it only seems like the positive posts are causing the issue though; the negative posts are fine.....I have a message out to Youde on FB so we'll see what happens...

I'm pretty sure in Riptrippers review he said that he had trouble trapping thin wire but 26 and lower were fine. I just got mine today and built it with 26 gauge and I had no problem but I could see that it wasn't going to do well with anything thinner.

Yes you'll have to change the chimney and it may reduce airflow by a tiny bit however it will give you what your looking for at minimal cost to vapor production and air flow. Also I've heard that the Orchard parts work on the SilverPlay but I'd confirm that first as well.

I think that modifying this tank defeats it's purpose. I mean I know it has it's flaws but the one thing it does do quite well is produce a very tasty vape. I don't like Kayfuns but I do like the Silverplay but I wouldn't want to turn it into a KF and reduce the flavor and vapor production.

Well, I just re wicked it using the method from that youtube video posted. So far so good.

But man, that guy on the youtube vid needs to learn to edit, and get to the point. He said the video was about wicking the goblin, but it took 30 minutes to get to the wicking.

Try fast forward, he's one of the best at builds on youtube.
