I mainly use 70vg juice. As for the wicking, I cut down the cotton alot so I could screw on that part that the chimney screws onto. I left the tips in the juice channels like I watched on videos and I never get a dry hit, the flavor and vape production just doesn't seem to be there. I think I am going to take it apart and try with 26 gauge and see if I see any difference.

I'm curious to hear your results. Like you, the flavor I'm accustomed to comes from heavier gauges and 28ga doesn't work for me no matter the build or the mod. The guy in the YouTube vid that was linked earlier quickly glossed over that it's too small a build deck for 24 ga wire, and no one here has said anything to the contrary, so I'm afraid it may be true. So much for being an Orchid killer with a glaring flaw like that.

I build with 24 gauge on my wife's Orchid all day every day no issues, and there is room to spare. When I get my Goblin (should be in the next couple days) I will break out the 24 gauge and make it work. I will post pics of the results so I can kill this "24g doesnt work" myth.

You *can* use 24g, but no bigger than probably a 2mm coil. Believe me, I wanted to use 24 in mine mostly, I ended up selling my Goblin in favor of thr Silverplay, just because the Silverplays larger deck allows me much better build options.
A 2.3mm 24g coil will be about paper thin distance from the posts and chimney walls making that size unfeasible .

What kills the silverplay for me (although they show pictures of variations) is that big metal section that comprises 90% of the tank. You can't see when you are running out of juice, and with something that eats up juice so quick, that is something I would consider necessary. What were they thinking? So, out of the box, without any tank modifications, I decided on the Goblin. If the silverplay had come out of the box with a tank like, for example, the billow, I would be buying that one, hands down, no questions asked. But.... it doesn't.

Mine hit the system. Tentative delivery of Monday the 26th.

I was actually debating on the Lemo or the Goblin. Decided on the Goblin from all the reviews that say it's awesome. Including many from this thread.

I'm sure the Lemo and the Silverplay are great, but I already paid my money, so we'll see what the mail brings.

Also, it seems nobody really wants the silverplay for the silverplay, they want to upgrade the airflow on their kayfuns. Seriously, look at the silverplay thread, I haven't seen a silverplay there that has actually stayed 100% silverplay.

Maybe if I had a bunch of kayfun parts to put on the silverplay I would have bought that.

Eciggity's got the Goblin in stock... Goblin RTA by Youde - Eciggity If the $34.99 price tag plus shipping doesn't bother you

I have ordered from eciggity before and would again even though they are a few bucks more expensive then most other places. Plus because they are in Hawaii shipping takes and extra day or two to hit the mainland but still pretty fast. Last time I ordered it took 5 days to go from Hawaii to Maine.
