Well, I've decided that despite the Goblin is an amazing device, RTAs just aren't for me. The delicate glass, and how finicky they are, I'm going back to drippers.

So, my two goblins are up for trade. Once I get verified, they'll be up on the classifieds.

i finally got my goblin and i see what you mean by how finicky it is. it took me near 3 hrs of messing with the coil length i wanted along with wicking it. but finally got my vertical coil in. and found an easier way to wick. and the damn bottom part of the chimney's threads came screwed up made it even harder. i agree most of these rta's are stressful. damn my lemo is so easy to build in, its hard to mess up. i f'ing love the lemo. (as im typing got a dry hit in my goblin :(.) anyways what i'm trying to say is get a lemo bro i promise you'll be happy with it and if your not i'll buy it from you.
when it comes to the glass i've knocked my tanks over so many time never had one break. and if you are truely worried about breaking it put a bumper around it.( take a couple rubberbands and wrap them around the glass).

I might try a lemo later, I was thinking about one before the goblin. But I think I'll stick with drippers for a bit.

And, I'm not worried about breaking one just to worry, I broke the glass on my first goblin when it fell out of my pocket while putting on my hoodie. That's why I have two Goblins, replacement glass wasn't available.

I need simplicity. Unfortunately the goblin hasn't given it to me. Though the vertical coil I did on mine was working great.

It's really pretty simple after u get it right....I got it perfect on my second build...put the larger glass section and chimney on now and it's amazing...wicking is the key part with this tank....vapor and flavor are the best of any device (speaking as an overall I can get more vapor on an rda,but as a whole it's the best).....it really is great once it's dialed in.

Did my first build on the goblin today, 28g 2mm 7 wraps came out to .6. Wicking a bit iffy It's been leaking down into the air flow and the fill screw, granted I'm using a pretty high pg juice at the moment. Not sure if it's just thirsty or the minor leaking making my juice dissappear so quickly :p.

Few issues to note, the juice channels are way smaller than a pic someone posted of their goblin, the afc ring is off by a mm and one of the negative posts are a bit crooked.

I watched trevors video for my next build tomorrow and think I'll be able to get the Wicking down and hopefully no leaks. Going to try a twisted 28g build shooting for .4.

Good things are; the airflow is fantastic, flavor is on point and the extra chimney is cool to have. Also does anyone know the gauge of the wire it came with? Still waiting for my various sizes to come in was thinking about doing a build with it.

I had the horizontal coils pretty well down, but if you did even one little thing wrong, it leaked on me, or blocked airflow, or dry hit. I have to say these Goblins are fairly finicky. Great when they're built perfect, but man, getting that perfection is work.

It's not a terrible amount of work.. I have had the same build in here for 2 weeks now, and it vapes like a champ. Once you get a good one, keep it! I think the problem isn't necessarily the RTA/RBA/RDA, but it's human nature to constantly seek perfection. That's why vape gear sells, because the next best thing may not be better than the last best thing, but people will try anyway, forever seeking out the "perfect" vape.

I have gotten "close enough" with the Goblin, and it's all I use now. Sometimes good enough just has to be good enough. Otherwise, we will all go broke.

That is truly the beauty of the variety within all that is available to us. I think back to when I started vapping in 2009. There were, essentially, two choices. Vapping a pen style e-cigarette or smoking a cigarette. What was available then was truly horrific compared to what is available today. Can you say stone knives and bear skins?

If you want simplicity go with a subtank, or the like. It you want the personal hands on hobbyist approach go with a Goblin, or the like.

I got my first Goblin a week ago. Built out a Kanthal build right away. Took me two tries and that build is still producing a great experience for me. Got my second Goblin last night. I spent three hours fiddling with a Ni200 build. Finally got it right and I could not have had a better time having sex. Just a happy wonderful experience playing and figuring it all out. But I did it while using a couple of Subtanks. The variety is awesome.

I guess what it comes down to is, I was not having fun building the goblin after a while. My mutation xv2 on the other hand, is just fun to build. Sure, it doesn't have the flavor the goblin does. Which is why I'll be getting another dripper, with a narrower drip tip. Should work well. Plus, variety matters to me.

With the goblin, I had two builds that worked, out of I have no idea how many tries. My vertical build was one of them.

so when i got my goblin this is what my threads looked liked

IMG_7470[1].jpg

had to flip it upside down to get it work, but the top part of the chimney still hangs up on it really bad. anyways finally got my vertical coil wicking down. my build is 26 gauge 6/7 wraps spaced vertical coil. comes to .4 ohms. if you get the wicking right(which is a b#$%^ by the way for verticals) you could push around 60. my wick is working, but not optimal so im around 45 watts. with 80/20 vg/pg. this build hella opens up the air flow.

side note i contact MBV regarding the damage part and they are sending me new goblin and told me to just keep the one i already have.

Got mine tonight! Build quality is pretty crappy with sharp edges and crunchy threads. I was nervous as heck building and wicking knowing some people have found the Goblin to be a finicky device BUT first build is working like a dream! Flavor and vapor production are great.

Made two 8 wrap, 26 gauge, 2.4 mm micro coils at .4 ohms.

Wicked with cotton, just a little loose in the channels with "shoulders" on the deck. Getting bubbles from 2 channels with every puff. So far beginners luck!

I'll add that I am a huge Lemo fan! I have 3 of them and I never thought I would ever find a tank that could even come close. Well the gob's build quality doesn't compare but the vape experience certainly does! I've found my lemo's equal.

i love my lemo too. i haven't decided if i like the goblin more, less, or find it equal. the lemo is so easy and constantly awesome, its hard to compete with.

Yup lemo just works. I'll probably eat my words the first time I rebuild the goblin. Who knows but at the moment I am wicked happy.

For me the Lemo went into it's box when i got the silverplay, and the silverplay went into its box when i got the Goblin. The Goblin with the 4+ ml Tank is great for clouds on the go (When i'm driving or in a situation where dripping isn't an option). For more flavor i put the smaller tank / chimney on it
