I fill it and nothing comes back out when I fill. I use a paper towel and squish the end and wipe the inside threads and the screw. Check the tank every so often and its wet on the bottom wipe it down, check it later and its wet again but i know for a fact its not the AFC or wicking. But anyhow like I said, just by putting that clear gorilla glue tape over the screw head I haven't had a problem but can see the bit of liquid sitting in the screw x. I'll try filling it slower and see next time. Thanks.

So my fill screw does leak. Always liquid when I took the tank off under there. I put a small piece of clear gorilla glue tape over the screw and it stopped the mess but u can see the liquid sitting in the screw head. The tape works great though for a quick fix

I think the leaky fill screw has a lot to do with the filling itself, aside from the getting the wicking right. When I first filled the Goblin I had a lot of back flow on the bottom of the atomizer, that along with a wet screw caused the ring of liquid on the bottom. I would wipe it down after I put the screw back in too. I've been taking the fills slower, all the liquid going in the tank lol, also making sure the screw was pretty dry. I haven't had any liquid on the bottom of the atomizer since I've been doing the fills more carefully.

Hmmmm.... I'm not a fan of leaky attys, this seems more common than I care for. I might just re-think the whole goblin purchase, especially after seeing the review of the new Lemo II last night.

I wouldn't say its a leaky atty, it's more of an issue concerning filling and proper set up. The tank itself never leaks through the drip tip or through the airflow inlets. A lot of the fill screw leaks have to do with the fill. If there is still liquid in the fill port (didn't drain down all the way) and you put your screw in, you have liquid being squeezed out the top. Now that whole path, even though it's tight, could now have a tendency for more liquid to travel through since the liquid is already in that path. Yes a screw with an oring would probably fix the whole issue, but Youde decided to go with a "screw plug" design instead.

The tank itself is great, it's basically a RDA deck with a piece of glass around it that holds liquid, it's rock solid when set up. I will say that it takes more patience than some other RTAs.

You also have a good point in looking into other things, there's always new stuff coming out that could be more interesting to someone else.

All I can say is I am loving the rba deck on the subtank mini, and this is supposed to be just as good a vape and build deck. I know I'm grabbing another stm, just not sure what my next rebuildable tank will be. The Lemo is also in the same realm; being known for great flavor!

Awww, yeah. Dem quad coils doe.

F8Bcvsll.jpg

Used 28g, 9 wrap around a 1/16" bit, came out to around .26 ohm. DNA 40 can't push it hard enough, slapped it on the sig150w and have it at 50w for now to see how my wicking keeps up. Liking this build so far.

@Darryl you can't really compare goblin to the subtank mini, one is dual coil, the other single coil. Goblin could be compared to orchid, fogger, billow, silverplay, etc. Subtank mini and Lemo can be directly compared, I prefer STmini RBA vs Lemo personally. Lemo II looks good, lots of airflow.

If you're concerned about leaking, most of it is user error with wicking, or not drying off the screw and fill port enough. I haven't had any leaking since I started drying off the screw, and fill port better after refilling.

Very true, however they are each known for being very flavorful tanks!

nice build. im guessing you wicked yours different from how i do mine, as your coils are placed at less of angle?

Holy nic buzz, quad coils @ 60w with even 3mg juice has me buzzin.

lol, yea the quad build really gets me too.

That pic was before I adjusted them a bit, I angled them a more, but I did wick it slightly differently than you. I just cut the top of the wick off at the end of the coils. Seems to be keeping up so far.

Yeah, I had to set it down for a bit, heh.

nice i thought about doing that, but i was worried that with how small the coils ID and how big the juices channels are, i would end up with either dry hits or flooding. but seeing how its working for you im going to try cutting off wick top. curious to see the difference in the vape vs having the wick top folded over.

oh forgot to ask. do you like the quad coil better over the dual coil?

So far I'm liking it better than the dual 26g .4ohm build I have on my other one. This is technically only the 2nd time I've built a goblin, the other one I still have the first build in.

I'm throwing more watts at it, than I did the dual coil build, maybe that is why, but the vapor production is crazy.

i wonder how well it would work if you were to use one piece of wick through both coils...? then you wouldn't have to worry about trimming the tops at all.

Yeah, that is what I wanted to do, but it wasn't cooperating, so I just did what I posted. I couldn't get it to feed into the second coil even guiding it with a small precision screwdriver. I think it could be done, but I didn't have the patience for it at that point.
