"Just a suggestion for what I think might be the biggest growth segment of the vaping market, the newbies. If you read the newbie forum, almost every single one of them is overwhelmed when making a buying decision. I simply went V4L on a recommendation. As a newbie, every vaping supply site is really bare bones as far as info goes. Confusion reigns.
I must have spent 20 hours on this site and then looking at links just to begin to understand what a mod was, and why I needed one! All I knew was my bypass kicked my 808's ..... The rest took a very long time to figure out, and I still don't have it figured out. If I buy a Buzz, can I get the right adapter for my V4L carts? Do I have to place an order elsewhere just for an adapter to get what I need? What would it take for an Infinity to vape my V4L carts and flavors? I have no clue. Yes, I am a dumb newbie. "
I just pasted above a portion of one of nomatches comments here. This is the first time I have come to this thread because I have felt I'm not even qualified to be here. I'm glad I showed up to read some of this. What he is saying is so true. I spent 4 months trying to read up and figure out mods, variable voltage...so much!!!! I'd go to all these sites who sell mods and didn't understand what the hell they were selling. All I knew was obviously mods were a good thing...but whsat the hell is it? emails to the owners asking questions just gave me frustrating answers. I didn't understand what they were saying. I didn't know the language..too many acronyms...what does it mean? It would take me 3 to 5 days just trying to get my questions answered..... going from site to site...literally hours every weekend trying to make sense out of it...posting questions on some forum hoping someone would take the time to answer my questions...going to websites and not even understanding what the heck it is they are selling!! It was only my interest and persistance wanting to undertstand and getting the perfect vape that I bumped into 5CS out there in "lost land". I got lucky. I would not have my infinity otherwise. He took some time to tell me what it was and how easy it is to use.
There is a newby thread but I see what you mean and it's a great idea.
