Yep I know, I was just thinking of making it aesthetically pleasing. I know this would cost to get the size right. I have a TW extender and no ∞ yet.
I know the TW extender will be a bit long. But no big deal for me, just thought it would look nice if it looked sort of normal.
I personally do not care about normal, but I am old enough to not care about that.

I looked at that but on the Infinity there is NO ROOM ! to do that , on the next Buzz I think I can do that ( good point and I have wanted to do that )
Don't adapters in fact do that exact duty. If you want an 808 connection screw in an 510 to 808 adapter. It adds less than a 1/4 inch in the difference than an actual 808 connector.

Actually the stealth 510-808 someone posted a pic of was almost the exact same height as a standard 808. Wish I could find the post to see where it came from.

I am a newbie, so I likely have little to offer in the way of suggested product enhancements, but I do have a couple of suggestions. Being of a sales background, the first rule I operated by was to make it as easy and simple for a cutomer to buy. I started a thread here asking for a comparison between the Infinity and the Buzz. I'd like to see that more well defined at your web site. After my first look, I really didn't come away thinking I understood those differences all that well.

Then I wasn't sure if a voltmeter was a must have or not. I still am unsure exactly what I would need to use my Cool Carts and Wow carts in the way of adapters. I notice the Buzz 808 connector says it's slotted, does that mean it would not work with my slotted carts from V4L?

I got into vaping from a thread started at a fantasy football site of all places. I think there are at least 15 of use who just quit analogs and started vaping because of that particular thread within the past 3 weeks. Most went V4L, some went Bloog. ALL of the V4L customers want something in a battery PV that works as well as their USB 5 volt bypass.

So, newbies get lost in this maze of information and choices. V4L isn't much different, I find that their web site does not have what most new vapers need to know and to learn.

I still don't know exactly what I need and where to get all I need to buy a Buzz and be able to use my V4L carts.

With the large number of suppliers like V4L, I don't know how difficult it would be to both explain things and offer a package that includes everything I might need, but I do know that an awflu lot of newbies that start with a V4L go looking for a mod very soon there after. From my little window on the world, something of a consolidated buying guide on your site would be very helpful. Doable, I dunno.

Just a suggestion for what I think might be the biggest growth segment of the vaping market, the newbies. If you read the newbie forum, almost every single one of them is overwhelmed when making a buying decision. I simply went V4L on a recommendation. As a newbie, every vaping supply site is really bare bones as far as info goes. Confusion reigns.

I must have spent 20 hours on this site and then looking at links just to begin to understand what a mod was, and why I needed one! All I knew was my bypass kicked my 808's ..... The rest took a very long time to figure out, and I still don't have it figured out. If I buy a Buzz, can I get the right adapter for my V4L carts? Do I have to place an order elsewhere just for an adapter to get what I need? What would it take for an Infinity to vape my V4L carts and flavors? I have no clue. Yes, I am a dumb newbie.

I'll be buying either a Buzz or Infinity in a couple of weeks, and it just might take that long to figure out just what I have to buy!

So, some thoughts from a newbie.

Mike im sure if you start a thread some of will gladly help you put the draft together. That should save you some work and help get it up. Then you would just have to edit to your liking and post it on your site.

I think I speak for more than just myself in saying we want you to succeed and I know I personally would have no problem lending a hand to help.

I was thinking about something on the side bar titled "What is a mod and why you probably need one."

Then something like

Many if not most people who start vaping use a cigarette sized personal vaporizer, but need something more satisfying to make quitting cigarettes more managable, or just for the plain enjoyment of a better experience when vaping. It's common for the person new to vaping to want the performance of a USB battery bypass (which uses a five volts supply from your computer rather than most battery based PV's that use 3.8 volts). Something the vaping community calls "Mods" are the answer to this dilemna, and that is what we produce here at Notcigs, outstanding mods that deliver vapor, flavor and taste that no ordinary single battery personal vaporizer can.

We offer two styles of mods, each having it's own unique appeal and advatages. We will answer your questions about compatability to cartdiges and atomizers here to make buying a mod less confusing than it has been in the past.

Then comes the hard part. Actually putting together kits with whatever adapters are needed for each type, 510' 910's, 808's whatever. If someone is married to one compay's carts, be able to kit it for them. ALL of the needed parts and accessories. I know that has to be a ridiculous amount of work and a big time investment, but I know something about marketing through catalogs, I've written several of them for electronic test equipment as a product line manager and then a National Marketing Mgr. A web site is no different. It's just an electronic catalog.

This is what I call a leveraged marketing tool. You educate prospective clients just enough to know if they order from you, it's going to be simple, it's going to work and it's going to be what they want. What you explain at your site will only be partially tranferrable to a competitor's site or product. In other words, do all the legwork for the customer. When that same prespective customer looks elsewhere and walks away confused, they see your site and know exactly what they need to buy.

A link to a generic educational site is fine, but it isn't a leveraged marketing tool either. It should not be a public service announcement. It should sell Notcigs products by simply asking a customer what it is they want, and offering a turnkey Nocigs solution. No fuss, no muss, here is what you need.

I know it's alot of work, but there are different ways to be a leader in any marketplace. Each way to lead if done correctly can lead to growth, as the saying goes, it isn't always the best mouse trap that gets purchased. It helps a WHOLE lot if it IS the best mouse trap, but there are also other ways to innovate.

I see a gaping hole in this area. I go to a website and have no clue what I might need to place an order that will satify me and get me what I want. This market is exploding and this is the time to establish market share, and there are several ways to accomplish that.

Being a small shop and essentially a startup, your time is limited and stretched. How often do you have to answer emails that could possibly have been avoided if the site were more informative? How many people look at the site and leave without asking a question or finding this forum? How often do you have to email people when an order doesn't look right? It's easy and tempting to back burner this sort of thing, but the way to kill the alligators is indeed to get the swamp drained. MUCH easier said than done. If I knew more about vaping and was not web design stupid, I'd offer my help. I can however write ad copy with the best of them, and if you'd like I could take a swipe at that sort of thing.

I'm sorry if I over step my bounds here. I am a marketer from day one. Once in my lifetime I had two "twin products" for the video industry that were innovative, placed in an expanding market, priced right and marketed correctly. We made more money and gained more market share with those two products than the rest of the 100 page catalog combined. I have to admit the noise level for vectorscopes and broadcast quality waveform monitors had a much lower competitive noise level, but I think the analogy is a good one. I see similar opportunity here.

So, it's just my two cents. In any case, I'll be ordeing my Buzz tonight, now that I have an idea of WHAT to order! Even after searching through this forum for hoiurs, looking at the web site, I still had to start a thread to have any confidence I was not making any mistakes when I placed my order. It has to be easier than that. Not a critisism, please don't take it that way. It's more just me sharing my experiences along the way. It was a long and twisted road to get here.

I'm confident I've made the right choice, but it should have been easier to arrive at.

I think you are correct on alot of points. I struggled when I came to PVs. I was in your shoes not that long ago. I spent a month learning before I even held a PV. Then I spent two more figuring out what I wanted in a mod. Like you I started with V4L and in fact I still use mine when im out and about. However at home, I am with my infinity :) I ordered my wife a buzz today. You wont regret your choice.

The best thing about Notcigs is Mike stays in touch with his customers. He posts here almost every day. He says what needs to be said no matter what. He will answer questions without a moments thought.

In the meantime if you have questions feel free to ask them. There are great people in the group and they will help. I will do my best as well.

One of the things that is best about your choice is notcig has, Proven Fact, the best customer service in the electronic cigarette business. Oh and the best PVs.

But it was only by chance, slim chance that I found Notcig. A visit to the web site left me... cold. I had to search around and happen upon it, then go pro-active and ask questions in this forum.

I look forward to writing a review in the forum here. I'm sure I'll be thrilled with the Buzz, and will share my story and my review to spread the word. I also have a bunch of folks still posting in that Fantasy football forum that got me started on vaping, lots more V4L users looking for a better mobile vaping experience. I'll be sure to do a review for them as well.

If anyone is interested, here is a thread about a bunch of smokers who are just discovering vaping as a way to quit. The success rate is amazing. it was this thread that started me off into the world of vaping.

I told you I can sell! LOL... it's about knowing what your customer's issues might be. It was easy to figure out that your time is often directed at customer service issues that could possibly have been avoided. I'm not at all suggesting that customer service isn't important, in this market it is paramount. Nor do I suggest having a lower profile here, in contact with your loyal customers. The idea is to lower the level of resources that customer service demands on one's time, your time. Circumventing the need for personal attention to CS is what I mean, not a lack of responsiveness.

It's the same with customers. The simpler and easier it is to order, the lower the demand on resources to handle CS issues. Getting more orders at the site without requiring your involvement.

I'll email you... I have a few more ideas. Could be a fun project.

I just pasted above a portion of one of nomatches comments here. This is the first time I have come to this thread because I have felt I'm not even qualified to be here. I'm glad I showed up to read some of this. What he is saying is so true. I spent 4 months trying to read up and figure out mods, variable voltage...so much!!!! I'd go to all these sites who sell mods and didn't understand what the hell they were selling. All I knew was obviously mods were a good thing...but whsat the hell is it? emails to the owners asking questions just gave me frustrating answers. I didn't understand what they were saying. I didn't know the language..too many acronyms...what does it mean? It would take me 3 to 5 days just trying to get my questions answered..... going from site to site...literally hours every weekend trying to make sense out of it...posting questions on some forum hoping someone would take the time to answer my questions...going to websites and not even understanding what the heck it is they are selling!! It was only my interest and persistance wanting to undertstand and getting the perfect vape that I bumped into 5CS out there in "lost land". I got lucky. I would not have my infinity otherwise. He took some time to tell me what it was and how easy it is to use.
