Couldn't it be done with the internal LED that's already there? Just brainstorming.

Unfortunately not. It would take a different circuit and a different LED. The multi LEDs are larger. With room at a prime inside these tubes, I seriously doubt its something well see anytime soon. That said, things keep getting smaller so eventually maybe mike will find something at a reasonable cost that can accomplish it.

That's too bad because out of all the displays, volt, amp, watts, etc. that ecigs have the only one that is important is the battery level indicator.

You know that on a Li-ion battery the voltage lowers just a small amount , any indication is going to be dubious at best IMO , also under load the indicator would show low at times ( I guess you could filter it over time ?? I will look into a low battery indicator chip and see what they have out there .

My thought was that all the other indicators people are putting on these are nothing more than bling to the normal ecig user because they don't know the difference between a volt , amp or watt anyway.
I'm not calling them stupid I hope everyone knows.

well I looked into it and it will take about 10 components so it is a NO GO at this time .

I don't have any problems now knowing how long my batteries are going to last. Plus it would just drive the price tag up and I think that's one thing people like about notcig PVs. You get a great looking, great performing, (best performing in IMO) no frills, PV that you don't need a second mortgage to buy. I wouldn't change a thing.

I'm using an ego, and doing research on what I want to get next. Buzz Pro is looking like my next major purchase.

I'm liking everything about it. One thing that stands out, in particular, is the option of getting the wood veneered versions which look very nice. I may not do that on my first one, just to save some money, but I think it's inevitable that I'll want to get one that way.

The one thing that I find missing in the Buzz Pro is that there doesn't seem to be an on/off switch. That's the only thing I would ask for that doesn't seem to be there.

Mike will swap caps for those of us with pros that the on.off didnt work ;)

I can't imagine turning mine "off".

Since I'm now more of a gentle soul, I do allow my Buzz Pro to rest a bit, like when I sleep, but don't ask for much more than that.

Should that ever change, I can just turn the end cap. :thumb:

I might have to try that sometime...
