MMm, taller cap..I'll work something up ;)

If a person had a lathe it would be a pretty stright forward project ;)

Im still dreaming of the cap that works like a light bulb socket and lets us thread whatever cap we want right in :) That what we call a real swap top :p Recessed 510, 801, 901...... collect them all LMAO

That's an awesome idea Ruppy!. Then you could buy a barebones kit with one adapter or Ultimate Buzz Kit with all adapters. I'm thinkin this could be done. Sorta like a cap within a cap so you wouldn't have to fuss with the positive wire. Just screw it in and vape.

I ran that idea around way back when I designed the OB , the problem was making a stout center pin in the area I had to work with , even now it is a problem with space

Ya, doesn't go with the KISS concept either, I guess. Still a cool idea though.

I actually got around that. I was going to get one machined at one time but the local machine shop wanted a pretty penny for one piece and the wait time was insane.

Heres a rough concept. I didnt put in threads or show the insulators

By estimates it would make the pro cap about 3MM taller.

But anyway just thought Id share :) I love my Pro

I love the idea for The New Envy....I'm all about stealth mods and I think this is gonna be another one added to my arsenal for sure. I would love to see a VV mod come from you guys using a single 18350....That would be the golden mod for me. Any thing like that in the foreseeable future?

You could just do it this way and omit the threads altogether.

I have an idea for a feature to add to the buzz pro. I think it would be cool to have a small lcd below the voltage dial that would show where your at with voltage. You could make the dial also function as a push button turning on the lcd. or maybe the lcd itself can be the push button and have it automatically shut off after several seconds, maybe click it twice to show ohms of atty. Sounds similar to provari, but those things are a pain in the ..., this would be simpler.

The big problem with voltage displays is that there is alot of stuff that goes behind them. Thus the tube would have to be around 1.5 inches longer. Noone makes a small screen for them so its either, get one custom made (expensive), or use use whats available currently, (large and bulky in a tube mod).

The meter mike sells as a accessory is the smallest thing out there right now. Myself ,and many other modders/manufacturers, have hunted for a better solution. Unfortunately there are not any.

I don't like the look of a LCD screen on a PV. it's too much of a "Look, I have a star trek toy" kind of thing for me. And 95% of the time, I wouldn't care what that LCD said anyway. Every once in a while, it might be nice to know what the voltage was at, or how much battery power was left, or some of that other info that they use them for on the Darwin and Provari, but it would be fairly rare.

If it were feasible to have a small plug where you could plug in a separate little box that had the LCD screen and such, that might be nice. I don't know if it's possible, but it seems like it would work. In a box mod like the Reo, maybe a LCD inside, where it isn't normally visible, might be nice.

But I don't want one there all the time. I don't want the star trek look, and I don't want people seeing it and thinking "He's going to set off a bomb with that", and I don't want people seeing it and thinking "That looks like it's worth a lot of money, lets see if he sets it down for a minute".

For those few times when it would be nice to have one, the screw on volt-meters seem like they would do most of what an LCD is actually useful for anyway.

ok ruppy how about this... Lets say the voltage readout device can be designed to be an add-on device for those who want this feature. It can be the same diameter as the buzz and come in same colors, and about 1" to 1.5" long. You take the top cap off the buzz, screw on the volt/ohm meter and then be able to put your top cap on top of all that. That way you dont have to make an entirely new tube mod that will cost more than what most people would spend. Im sure to some people it wouldnt be a feature that they want anyway. IMO the buzz pro is kinda hard to improve upon. Its an excellent device, maybe just play with its look or run it on a different battery like 18650's or something. I think that the biggest improvement to the vaping experience needs to be in the juice delivery. Carto's, tanks, dripping.. There has to be an easy, efficient, clean, and more reliable way to juice up the nichrome.

I like how on the Darwin you adjust the watts. That would be nice to have the potentiometer on the buzz adjust watts instead of volts. Then once you get it to where you like it you can switch cartos and not worry about readjusting it.

Well in reality it DOES adjust the Watts but is not a regulated watts device ( different type of controller ) as you turn up the voltage you turn up the watts on a fixed resistance .
