you know I agree with you in most cases, yet rather than an Iron Fist, I prefer the Velvet Glove approach ..

Your velvet glove is given gravity by my ever-so-slightly more frank statements of written opinion, without which it would be as unnoticed and ignored as my attempts to say two words in succession in the hangout without being interrupted. No, it's not something new that happens only there... I have a lifetime of experience being overrun in that manner but when I need to I can make myself heard. Speaking softly works well for me when I'm talking to myself, but with others it never has worked.

You know, this organized religion bull crap is a real joke. Seems to me there can be only one God. Period, end of discussion.
The difference in religion is they all worship HIM (or her. I'm easy) in a different way. But it's still one. Not to mention no one has ever seen him. Just his disciples. Whether, Christ, Mohammed, or whatever. Just a different "messiah". There is no "right" way to worship. Just any way works. Just like vaping. Everyone has their own way of satisfying themselves.
And... thot this was one of the *verboten* topics everywhere on earth.

You know the sad part is that I have no problem with a contrarian or someone who calls it like they see it. My line is rudeness. Name calling dips too far into that rudeness line. There are far better ways to get a point across than falling back to Name calling.

In this case in specific I found myself getting irritated enough to want to say things that would be rude. It has been building for awhile this was just the straw that made me realize it is time to take myself out of the equation.

True story I heard years ago in an interview with the guy that produced that video. They kept hearing this clicking sound and trying to find what was causing it in the performance. Turns out it was Cyndi Lauper's Jewelry.

Aren't there any TC mods w/ replaceable batts? I'm not keen on mods w/ built-in batts for the Vapocolypyse stash. What happens when the batt finally craps out?

That Reauleux RX200 is supposed to be pretty darned good from talking to my friends on the SX thread. 3-18650s does nickel, Ti, SS and Kanthal of course. They are getting the chip dialed in with upgades. About $55 200w if you want it but great battery life if set like for Ti at 25w 420F Guess it's a great vape. From what I hear one of the best buys in TC there is right now.

So...a couple of days ago i got a small camcorder to video my place...took two days to figure out how to operate it, it had three/four different cables... and i had to get a micro memory card, so i had to make another trip to the store for it.

Took me
two days to comprehend the various instructions, but I finally got it. Went outside at dusk to video the outside with the Christmas decorations, then inside...wasn't too bad an effort......but couldn't figure out where to put the cable end into either the tv or the pc...which the instructions said that it would fit in either one.

Chey came over today and tried to understand the instructions...and couldn't! And she determined that I have NO ports on either the tv or the pc that matches the plug cable for the camcorder! SO...back to the store we went for a refund!BUT...I finally got her to my new favorite restaurant and she was favorably impressed!

I'll give a little history...

My sister is my only sibling.
My parents won't say anything - they don't want to cause a rift.
We go there because...just because...if we didn't there wouldn't be anything for my parents at all.
My BIL is a sweetheart and very giving...BUT - he can't keep his mouth shut about how bad everyone except "his group" are.
It gets old having to literally think about how he might take what you say before you say it...or he might go off on one of his people slamming rampages.
Last mistake I made was mentioning a beautiful video I saw about the Boat Rescues from 9/11...he went off on how Americans blahblahblahblahblaaaahhhh...
I got up from the table and waited outside till all were done eating and came out.
Soooo many times it is on the tip of my tongue to just scream "if you don't like it here, go back"
After my parents are gone, there probably won't be much contact.


So...do I think it's funny to think about doing stuff to irritate him ? Oh hell yes !!
He's been my BIL for 20 years, my tongue is quite sore...

Oh girl. The hell with it, let him have it. He can't possibly have lived here for over 20 years and think the things those savages are doing… .oh hell, almost got me started. Is he a citizen of the United States? I absolutely do not understand how anyone that has been overseas and now lives here can not think this is best country on Earth. I have been literally all over the world, including most of the middle east and NO PLACE compares to here. Hell in some place in Europe the toilets are still a hole in the floor with two molded footprints on either side. Ok I'm climbing off my horse now.

I'm with you gary. Years and years ago I left the Catholic church. Way back then their teaching were much too strict and firm for me ... like it was a sin to go into a Jewish Synagog. I just use that for an example there were a bunch of other reasons too. I never stopped being Christen in my beliefs and outlooks but surely no a practicing Catholic. A number of years ago I did re-join the church. Sometimes I feel hypocritical because I still have disagreement with some of its doctrine ... but that's where I find my place to worship now-a-days.

One person's descriptive phrase is another person's name-calling. Isn't it name-calling to call someone else a name-caller? At any rate, I could not possibly contort myself sufficiently to avoid saying anything that somebody somewhere would consider rude.
