im going to cash in on the lightning vapes wire sale. the price is right. im not going to spend ALLOT but im going to buy some wire. i want another roll of 24 GA kanthal, i am also considering buying some temp control wire. what do you guys think of stainless. i have never done temp control.

I have kanthal and stainless both in bulk and use SS316L far more than I use Kanthal.

also what's the deal with rayon. i have been using japanese cotton, works great and its cheap. what advantages does rayon offer.

This was answered at the top of the page when you asked the same thing earlier - Are you done stocking up?

there is so many variations to do the same thing, vape...... hard to keep up. i know there wasnt nearly as many variations when i smoked. i used to smoke RYO so you had choices of different tobacco, different injectors, and different tubes.... but vaping HUGE variations. different regulated and mech mods, too many different types of premade coils, tanks, RDTA sections, wire, cotton, rayon, batteries, chargers, temp control, wattage, ect ect. just too much stuff lol. so far i have only done kanthal on wattage mode. i love making my own coils so much cheaper.

so what is a good gauge of stainless if i buy it? i have a roll of 24, 26, and 28 of kanthal

It depends what ohms you vape at. I use 26 and 28 the most but have some 24 and 22 also. Dual twisted 26 and triple twisted 28 are my favorite builds lately for 0.1 - 0.3 ohm builds.

i really like the build deck on the aromamizer. im not trying to put cotton in a chimney then having wicking problems later. that kind of drives me nuts, i can do it but it always seems i have to mess around to avoid leaks and then possible dry hits. seems like it has to be absolutely right for it to work. i dont seems to have those problems with the aromamizer mainly because i dont have to worry about a chimney. seems like its spot on every time, with a vertical build. it produces great vapor too, but my main reason for liking it is the easy to wicking with a vertical build

does rayon avoid the problems i seem to have with cotton? maybe i could use rayon in those other decks to avoid the problems i always seem to have with leaking and/or dry hits.
I use rayon in my aromamizer, and all my other tanks, without issue. It just requires a different wicking/trimming technique that is explained in the rayon mega thread.

I need to stock up on some more of these. Tesla Stealth with Tobecco Kayfun V5 and Heathers Gaia and Tesla with Kanger Subtank Mini and net dot com Blackberry Brandy.

Thanks to this thread and the need to stock up I finally tried the Kayfun 5 tanks. I knew the others would be too restricted for me. I now have this clone and one authentic. I think I need a few more of each.

Happy Camper today.

Just don't vape that Tobasco! :D

I standardized on KfL+ authentics and clones as well as Subtank Minis. I love the STM and am using them on 3 on mechs right now. I was even able to put a 3mm .05ohm clapton into a STM RBA today. The STM with RBA is an amazing setup IMO. I have lots of different tanks, but keep coming back to these.

I just tried MtL with 2 open and DL with 4 open on my Aromamizer.
I found both too airy. I like some resistance with my draw.
Using the 2 holes in front of the coils directly concentrates the flavor and makes thicker vapor compared to 4 hole draw IMO.
I'm not criticizing. Everyone enjoys a different vape.

69W horizontal 24ga 3mm dual coils @ .25Ω wicked with rayon
3mg max vg w/2% saline - 10% FW or MBV or 6% NN
usually under 2 second draw with ultralight slipstreaming

My $11 (inc shipping) roll of .7" Ptouch tape got here today.
3 in the box now :toast:

My Provape banner is off by quite a bit. - EDIT - It's closer than I thought :)
I skipped buying 161 cartons of Morleys now @ avg $80/carton = $12,600
I sell almost all of my used & unwanted stuff and almost always recoup 75% to >100%
Since I DIY I figure that I've saved roughly $8K compared to smoking

My DIY = $12-$15/liter - liter = 80 days

I sure am happy I stocked up on Kayfun lites and Provari's because for me they are the perfect MTL set up. I have quite a few Kayfun mini V3's too that I haven't tried yet, saving them for later when I need something "new" to play with LOL
Agreed.

I am very happy that clones are working out for all of you. Every clone tank has been :nah: for me.

I have authentics and the good ones are 2 kayfun lites, phenomenon, kayfun lite 5 pawns and a kayfun 5. In that order (worst last).
That was about £400
And now I'v got my peepers on the estia, squape, zest and calix.
I remember when I used to smoke and have a lot more cash o_O

And when I used to drip @ 70 and I'd go through 6-7 18650s
and 25-30 ml.
Now I mtl and go through 5ml and I have to push it to use up one 18490 on a mech!
Smooth sailing. :thumb:

Can't like your post. :( Why do dryers ALWAYS die at a bad time? Every single time mine has died through the years it been at the worst possible time to be spending money on a new dryer.

Today was not liked either. Took a ride with mom , at the start of a three hour drive she tells me that her hearing aid batteries are both dead. So I talk and get no response, or talk and get a fake response, or a response that is to something I didn't ask.

She tells me that her washer isn't wringing out the clothes and the dryer isn't drying everything. I tell her to tell dad if she doesn't get a new one, don't do his laundry. But she pretends to hear me. Then she tells me the seats in her car or uncomfortable and mine are nice. So I say tell dad you want a truck. She says "what?" I repeat it loud and slow. She then says "dad said he's not buying me any more trees. They won't fit in his trunk". Okay it's time for me to just not say anymore.

I agree. The first time i used it,i did not like it all,not sure why,but i just really didn't like it haha.I had bought a 30ft. spool of it,so a few weeks later i decided to try it again,so it wasn't a complete waste of money, and after that 2nd try i was hooked. It is all i use now,i bought 500ft. a couple months ago,and now it seems my 3 rolls of Kanthal are what turned out to be waste for the most part.I still use kanthal for my son's coils,so it'll get used, but i'm SS all the way now.
