Hey want to see an amazing show if you get Vice it's about smoking in Indonesia. The average age to start is 6, yes 6. 2/3 of the country smokes. They think it cures cancer and many other diseases. You know one channel I pay for that I feel I get my money out of is HBO. A lot of good stuff using HBOgo. All the Vice and Vice News shows and much better quality then Kodi.

There's not much method to my madness but I'm enjoying doing color grading of video from my drone. I just fiddle around with the settings until I like what I see.

I plead the 5th.

It's funny the one thing I remember is he would be proving something and would say because of modus ponens this is then true. We all were trying to get it and by the end of the year we had to prove 50 of them. Me and a frind worked together and our papers were over 50 pages long. I wouldn't be able to remember any of it now but modus ponen always stuck in my mind. Here is the definition.
the rule of logic stating that if a conditional statement (“if p then q ”) is accepted, and the antecedent ( p ) holds, then the consequent ( q ) may be inferred.
  • an argument using modus ponens.

You're welcome .. ;) .. although I doubt it disrupted your girlish figure .. :)

Umm, you do me honor kind sir, but you are mistaken. (can't claim that girlish figure since I retired and started playing with cooking!)

Today's early morning dance, short video.

You have proof of your cardio workouts for your doc! Good job!

Yer gettin' good at dat, fella. Time for a trip to Denver!!!

You know how often we fly in and out of Denver airport and never got to see one of these! Our daughter went to that dance school when she first came out here.

cameo appearance of my grandson last week, done by a friend of my granddaughter for a video assignment...

Still looking for one that's employable as a farming tool? Just curious, since I can't help you much with that but could help with knowledge regarding recreational-use drones.

Farmland and crop analysis is the end goal (by next year maybe), but I'm not ready to 'swim in the deep end' yet... ready to start learning the basics now though - with as small an investment as possible, of course. :)

From what I've found so far, the <150 ones are mostly close-range toys that, among other things, have a max range of ~60-80 yds and use Wifi to send the video signal back to you.

The >500 ones have nifty stuff like long range radio controllers and video feed, camera stabilization, and GPS - which of course opens the door to all kinds of other nifty features.

My conundrum is, I don't want to get into the >500 range just yet, but I do want the long-range, GPS, and good camera... so I'm gonna shop the $200-500 range for the best deal.

Or, I could just go out and buy a Phantom 4 Pro Executive kit for $3099!!! :D

I bought one of those little palm-sized quads off Amazon a few months ago, and I think I may have solved a couple problems I had with it, for zero cost - battery life and camera quality.

Two 18650s salvaged from a laptop battery pack, and a Graflex 23 I've had for ~35 years:

I still need to break out the duct tape and bailing wire, but I ~think~ I can make it work!... probably need more batts to power lift-off, but I got plenty. ;)

Need to add some solenoids for the tilt and swing though... ;)

Brilliant!... mini solenoids and stepper motors are cheap enough these days... where's my soldering iron? :p

Yup ... that just might work. :D

Might?... might?

To paraphrase the all-knowing Yoda:

Do or do not, there is no 'might'
