My friend's husband was better yesterday evening. Coherent, talking, responding, all very positive. He has a long way to go, but it looks better than it did.

That's excellent news. It bodes well for a full recovery.

I wonder if they did it that way. I know some of the heart procedures they do with valves go through the neck.

It's truly wonderous what can be done in medicine these days, at least in some areas. I think how they get to the hemorrhage site depends on the location in the brain.
I have another friend who had a stroke and during recovery became very disoriented and confused. Turns out she had a fluid buildup in her brain. So they put in a shunt to drain the fluid. In no time she was her old self again. On a follow-up visit they determined the shunt had moved out of place so they just used a strong magnet on her head to move the shunt and it worked!

Well, someone told me that Californian culture is too materialistic for my values. I checked out the pix of the women there, and they were all plasticized with glamour shots. I checked the pix of the competition here, and I fit right in. So, I think I will stay.

There is a guy there who is retired from PO, who has a cabin in the woods, and heats with wood. He doesn't drink, and refuses to talk about politics. LOL

I keep a little distance from the news these days. Seems to me like the "no-news season" every four years.

Pat, I don't know if I can count on you as having a Brothers Back .. I suspect you would .. .. all I will say is, I plan on selling all stock I own in any Company a few days prior to the Election, especially if the Polls are really tight, because if a Someone That Shall Not Be Named wins, Wall Street is going to look like the Exchange did after Brexit, and the Dollar value will be going the same way .. you read it here first ..

might want to consider selling sooner than election day as the markets have been under pressure for 7 weeks.......waiting until the day before elections could be leaving profits on the table.

the markets stopped going up mid july,, leaving only the retail buyers who are running out of cheap money as of sept 7,,sept 9 even the cokehead mm's/specs wouldn't touch the stocks. the time to sell a bubble is when there is still a sucker to buy,, not when the suckers are outta money

Well, I think I might have to go to the Dr....I've been having unusual symptoms for the last few days .....heart thumping hard, sweating profusely on n off, a higher than normal temp., some sorta acheiness in the "private" area....
but what is so strange is it only happens when I'm reclining in my recliner watching tv.... in particular one show that I sorta stumbled on, on Amazon, called Extant....Halle Berry starred and produced it and I've only been watching it because there was a certain actor in it,( but not till the second( and last) season)

Wait..maybe there's a correlation here....

LOL....definitely not one that would interest me. I'm not up to chopping wood in the winter anymore and being stuck in a cabin in the woods with an individual that I couldn't discuss ANYTHING with....trapped...
