I have a dilemma to deal with - I ordered two of the small XL Phoenix's - if they are really that good what is going to happen to the clearomizers and cartos I have??? I am actually tempted to try one and use it for just one juice and keep using my clearomizers for my other stuff until they go bad (I only have 3 so they will last a couple more months)... or I can set them aside as backups, but I normally do not let myself get into a position to need backups - I keep a good stock in the first place... I am sorry, I am rambling now... Decisions, Decisions... I just do not believe in dust collectors...

I just keep my stuff that I dont use anymore. When the times come for a coversion of an evil smoker (oh wait that was me befor:oops:) I have something they can give a first shot with.Attys and cartomizer come in real handy at that point. I had a few joey 510 s and half of them are gone to do there good deed.

I don't think you will be sorry, especially the 3 ml is working great for me and the best CE clearo type I've tried. It does seem to work best at lower voltages 3.3 -4.0 V. Everyone I've heard from that has tried them has liked them.:2cool:

That should work for me, I rarely run at more than 4.2 volts except when I have a HR atty (3.5Ω) attached. And I'm looking forward to using these on an eGo batt with my new pipe.

By the way, what Ω's are your Phoenix tanks?

Open question to anyone vaping w/ a Phoneix, what Ω Phoenix are you using and what voltage do you like it with?

Well, catching up in the thread and now know all I would ever need to know about coils, upper, lower, warmer, cooler etc. tanks and clearomizers and cartos - thanks.

I am trying to catch up too, I think I got information overload. I have to back off of buying some gear for a while but I'm sure I'll refer back to the discussion in the future.

I run the higher ohms stuff. I don't particularly like big throat hit....and with the VV, I can set it wherever I want. I rarely go over 4.2, and stay in the 3.7-4.0 range most of the time.

OK, this post will bore some ‘recents’, disappoint few ‘vets’ and pizz off some with thin skins, but hopefully, will encourage many others.

First off, thanx to this community, for I LOVE vaping, the grand ECF family with the ability to learn, educate and entertain within my rights to express myself without some non-ECF self-righteous censorship. Truth be told, I abhor said censorship: ergo, my hardheaded reluctance to participate in any clone ’mature’ thread! Actually, I don’t think I had any inputs that triggered the locking of the original thread. But that is an aside from this post…

Thanx to sandybeach, I was compelled to go down to my ‘office’, the local boat ramp, with a demon on one shoulder, for some cathedral inspiration. While reflecting on my total resentment and disgust, my other shoulder questioned me as to why I couldn’t let go. In short, I’m old enough to have experienced some horrors and much grandeur. So there I was combating myself over ‘right vs. wrong’.

Well, what happened to the original thread wasn’t right. But I should have considered those I missed above and beyond my sense of injustice.

Yes, this is a velvet glove post. I just hope that we never have to deal with a similar outcome in our ECF futures!

My Brother-in-arms, I know just lil’ of what you’ve been through and are dealing with daily. Although I don’t agree with what you did, I do offer my sincere friendship with a mutual understanding and respect!

The highest voltage I run is 3.9 volts on a 3.0 ohm DCT. I've got some Boge 2.0 cartos and run those a 3.2 volts. It's amazing how much difference little change in voltage makes.

I have a hard time believing some of claims that people run 2.0 ohms cartos at 5 volts, I like a good throat hit but I'd like to keep my throat around for a few more years. It's almost like a good B.S. session at a bar talking about the hottest chili pepper we ever ate, everyone is trying to top the previous story but no one wants a jalapeno when I offer to buy one.

I'm with you about the folks who vape at 6 volts - yikes! Even when I use a 3.5Ω atty, I don't like it over 4.8-4.9 volts. I usually adjust my Ω's & volts to get 'bout 7 watts. I like most of my juice around that setting. I may go up a tad for some tobacco flavors and cooler (lower volts) for some fruit flavors. :vapor:

The warmer and stronger throat hits are a turn off for me too Tiny. It to closely simulates smoking for me... I prefer cooler to slightly warm vapes myself... I have found adding a touch more VG can sometimes cool a vape down some and the clearo's are definitely cooler than the cartos... at the same voltage...

This may explain my perspective and why I think people will find their way to whatever thread they choose.

ATTITUDE
by: Charles Swindoll
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes.

It's not a contest, just a matter of preferences. I can't do spicy food, forget jalapenos. Truth be told, my normal vape is a 3.0 ohm carto at 5.5-5.7V. I have some io6 atties in 2.5 and 3.5 ohms. I have only used the 2.5's, and I like them around 5V. My preferred wattage is around 10.
I started with an Ego at 3.4V with a 2.0 carto, just under 6 watts. But I have really grown to enjoy really warm vape.

The highest voltage I run is 3.9 volts on a 3.0 ohm DCT. I've got some Boge 2.0 cartos and run those a 3.2 volts. It's amazing how much difference little change in voltage makes.
