Well I will give a Reo Grand clone a try. I have heard nothing but great things about the Reo Grand. No doubt all true. Heard the same things about about the other messiah (Pro Vari not Obama). Had one, it was ok, sold it. I don't buy into any hype any more. I will buy the clone "system" first

come on guys it is NOT a clone, it is really different, from the finish, the botton, the skuonk hole, the 510 yes bot are boxes that's it
It's clearly not a 1:1 clone, but there's a heck of a lot of similarity. ;)

I wonder if they changed enough stuff to keep US sellers from getting sued? Rob does have a design patent on the REO...

well apple sued samsung because their phone was a black rectangle so anything is possible

every mech mod (tube) has a lot of similarities

They definitely copied the Reo, but not 1:1 for sure! With a blem Reo being around 120ish, you can't beat it. (and could be hard pressed to find the blem even) 100% mechanically. Like someone else said.....they can't clone Rob! The extra would be worth it to me to be able to post a thread that said......hey I hoopled this..... and have Rob come on (along with 20 or so nauts) to tell me how to fix it. and to just have a much better mod! Saw Rob Fisher's vid on it, on his (sent to him to review) once you slid the door down you couldn't slide it back up, had to take it off and put it back on from the top. I would bet it doesn't have the adjustable 510 or the new contacts, and it looked like a real pain to make the button lock. But as others have said, it may drive some business Rob's way once folks find out that squonking is a pleasure, and the Reo is much better quality. Those who don't care about that, would likely never have gotten a Reo to begin with.

glad this thread is staying mostly friendly even funny sometimes!! Thrasher you dd make me giggle!! lol Not so sure what'll happen when someone buys this thing........ has an issue and comes to the Reo forum for help with it. Y'all know it's gonna happen. lol

Already being a REO owner I would absolutely NOT be able to tolerate this lol. If I can't play with my door I want no part of it. And I suspect I'm not alone in those feelings. :)

My prediction: A bucket of hot tar and a large bag of feathers. :D

But but but --- someone said how wonderful the reo people are.......any feeder owner would surely be welcomed into the fold, wouldn't they?

BTW, It doesn't look like a 1:1 clone to me from the video. It looks like a metal squonker.

Based on personal experience, I can assure you they have no problem with people who own other feeders that aren't blatant REO copies. But with something that close? I dunno. I figure the reaction might be similar to VW fans' reaction to this:

wonderful and loyal often cross paths... but even then, there's always a line drawn in the sand with every person on every subject at all times.

i suspect this could be a very firm line with many reonauts. some will always be tolerant and jovial on any one subject, ofcourse.

Looks cheap, would not ever buy.

My single Reo is the only device I have used for almost 3 years of my 5 years vaping. I have the piece of mind that that only a Reo owner can understand. It has never once not fired properly, it has never not fired immediately after I drop it down a flight of stairs or concrete or anything. It has never and will never fail me, it's a solid block of aluminum with built to last internals that are easily user serviceable and cheap to stock pile.

1 Reo + RBA + Accessories is $200 or less
Vape unflavored for pennies a day, wick with ReadyXWick or Cotton and buy 100ft of kanthal

Change your wicks once a week if cotton, once every 4-6 with ReadyXWick. Rebuild as necessary. Disagree if you want, but after 5 years, what could be better or more cost effective?

I got a Reo neener neener!!!! I could even crank up the bashing if I have to with one of these :pervy: Ooo ooo in yo face! That's prison yard tactics right there. Did I win the JA prize or maybe just a you tried ribbon. :D

That could be interpreted as I have a reo and you don't and may not get one, is that how you intended it to sound ?
As i said before if your wanting to go for a woodvil then you can miss out to someone who may have five already, for the metal ones then maybe that could be a low brow dig at trying to get someone to consider one , hey look what I have.

Floki is starting to get a bit touchy over Odin v Jesus , maybe somethings rubbing off. :p

SMPL mod I have $20 and Im sure i could throw it around and it would still work fine.

I'll look into the wood ones as they are something different , made from some types of wood well when there out up for me to look at. Not just MDF which some other ones Ive seen seem to be.

One of those plus a bf patty sent to me $320usd $415 my money.
Which is ok I got more than that the other day when Vancouver won the golden slipper.
Last I looked the metal ones were $160 or so.
Still that could put many people off and looking at alternatives but they seem to already have their customer base waiting to buy them.
