Just my opinion, the customer service I have received on my REO made my purchase worth the price. I bought it off of the classifieds and sent it to Reosmods where it was fixed for free. I expected a bill but did not get one.

In a community where we're supposed to be over 18, some of these comments amaze me.
we all know china, if they really wanted to clone the reo they would make them look exactly the same look wise, that's what they've done with all the mechs, this is definitely not a clone but an original design based on the idea of a bottom feeder
That could be interpreted as I have a reo and you don't and may not get one, is that how you intended it to sound ?
As i said before if your wanting to go for a woodvil then you can miss out to someone who may have five already, for the metal ones then maybe that could be a low brow dig at trying to get someone to consider one , hey look what I have.

Rob's Reo is patented. So, if the Chinese were to build a 1:1 counterfeit, it would be subject to the same laws as other counterfeit items are, here in the U.S., like counterfeit purses, watches, sneakers, golf clubs, etc. Seizure by customs, confiscation from retailers, arrest of retail owners knowingly selling counterfeit goods.
I'm no patent attorney, but this doesn't appear to be a close enough copy to classify as a counterfeit.

No interest from me. I vaped with one REO for six months then got the second one. I have zero desire to look at 'the new stuff'. The REO, along with Rob and the family..........= priceless. I love love REOville and all the REOnauts! Nothing compares.

I received my sample from the manufacturer via DHL this afternoon. I was sent this unit at no cost for the purposes of publishing an objective review - in other words, I won't be editorializing about my feelings regarding this device's similarities to a REO. But, I will give my honest opinions regarding build quality and performance.
I took some quick pics and did a quick physical comparison to my REOs. While not a 1:1 clone, it's not hard to see from where the design was derived. It's marginally larger than a Grand LP and much heavier. It weighs 7.4oz with no battery, bottle, or atty. My white LP weighs 6.7oz *with* a battery, SL door, 1/4 full bottle, and Derringer - my black wrinkle LP/SL weighs 5.7oz *with* battery, 1/2 full bottle, and Derringer. So, the Kui is a hoss. The provided sample unit has a hammertone type finish. The included atty is also pictured below.
I'm not going to provide much "review" speak here. I'll reserve that for my published review in a few weeks. I will say though that my authentic Derringers won't thread in to the mod's 510... like at all. My Freakshow Mini did thread most of the way down until it bottomed out. I did not attempt any adjustments. It auto-fires with button tops. Again, no adjustments attempted other than swapping to a flat top. I will say this - it hits hard.

Another tidbit...
I used my inline voltage meter to compare voltage drop. I used my black SL since I rebuilt it a couple of weeks ago. Same battery, same atty (.34ohm).
REO - battery voltage 4.15V, under load 3.57V
Kui - battery voltage 4.14V, under load 3.55V
Nearly identical.

I m happy to hear that,i m interested in the kui and the geyscano,and i really need more info and reviews
65$ for the geyscano regulated 50watt, the mech must be much cheaper....i think its a great deal for someone that cant or dont want to spend 200$+ for an aluminum box
