Gents I presume you keep your filling hole open to enhance wicking with this fats wicks , how can you handle leaking while you are out and about or you use another devices when you are out other than genesis devices
with the adjustable tank breather screw, I can adjust for a very satisfactory compromise between leaking and wicking. I can lay me DID on it's side for several mins with no leaking, after that i get a tiny amount of weeping from the airhole. No I will not compromise and leave my genesis atomizers at home for any reason, even if the leaked like a sieve, which thanks to that screw they don't :)

I run all 7 of my DIDs with a 500 mesh fat wick and leave the filler screw in. I do leave a tiny gap around the mesh in the wick hole. Mine wicks perfectly.

Thoughts: Needed to grind screw head down a little to fit inside top cap.
Spring from Pen would have been a little better if it was a slightly smaller gauge to ensure less "slop"
Would be good to have some sort of visible scale on the screw to get consistent adjustment
each time it has to be removed

Other than that is works great.
I turn it parallel to the ground and adjust screw until no leaking occurs, but fire it to make sure it is wicking well. :)

And where might one get such a screw?
you can make it FullFlavored Kind a Guy,
1. Clamp the M3 screw in a vice.

2.Cut a shelved slot with a fine grinding disk from a Dremell kit.

3. Insert screw thread partially into drill chuck, and apply sandpaper or a hardened file to sand down the width of the screw head so it fits inside the topcap without hindering the seating of the cap.

4.Cut a Biro spring in half or a bit less (I used around a third of the spring.

5.Slide Biro spring over threads and screw into place (screw in carefully for the first few turns as the screw can act as a thread tap and ruin the thread in the atty if you are careless, but this has not happened to me yet, just that I'm aware it could if care isn't taken)

6. Adjust screw clockwise until you get little or no leaking but still get good wicking.

7. Once you have found your sweet spot, turn the screw clockwise until it fully compresses the spring counting the turns as you go, then when you remove screw to refill, and then replace it you can turn it all the way in clockwise, and then turn it out anticlockwise the same number of turns you counted earlier. This will give you repeatable results with that current wick and coil setup. :)

I have had some success with your method Overall, but my current setup is with a snug fit wick 180mm.
This truly is the joy and the pain of genesis atomizers, there is no right or wrong way just many, many, many ways to set it up.

You must have a threaded filling hole to use the breather screw correct ?

Wish I could have afforded that... :(

I have 5 Chids - each with a different flavor juice & 2 AGAs filled with my "tank crackers". Still waiting on 2 AGA-Ts & 2 Chobras, and that'll take care of my 'regular' vapes. Gonna do both of my Vivi Novas w/ SS wicks when the 500mesh co-op comes through. 13 RBAs and only 8 PVs. Go figure. :D

did you meant to write seven or this is a typo

Rolled a 500 on the new cobra. 80mm. Tossed a 7/6 wrap with 28 which netted me ~1ohm. Aside from readjusting to the tighter draw, this is vaping like a champ. (Fingers got one helluva workout)
I do wish that the cobra didn't have that monster top nut. I may do a little search in some of my spare parts box. :)
