I went to an art festival a month ago. Many artists sold affordable reproductions of their art. The artist I found most interesting, and wanted a print from the most, refused to sell small sized, affordable, prints. His explanation was that he would rather sell 100 original pieces at $15,000 instead of 100,000 reprints at $15.
I believe you can build the best atomizer the eCig world has ever seen. You have already done so with your GG's. And I agree with Mre, your client base has already shown you that we are willing to pay premium prices for premium products.

Maybe it will last longer, performance will be a little better but cost would be higher as I see it. If I sell this at e.g. 20 euros then you could buy more than 20 cartos with that money Mau. I think its uselessWhat do you say?
Well Imeo, you said something about an atomizer with replaceable coils... If you make the atomizer housing/tip with the same attention to detail as the GGs, and the replacement coils performed better and lasted longer than your average atomizer coil, count me in for the intial 20 Euro investment as long as the replacement coils were reasonably priced. Besides I think if you could make coils at different resistances that would fit the atomizer housing so we could get the maximum performance at whatever voltage we vape, it would be a hit. I like the idea of having the GGTS of atomizers!
Now all I need is for Rob to get the GGTS w/GGTS AFS so I could actually own one!

Whilst the atomiser prices from China are as they are, it doesn't make a lot of sense to go with home-made atties, even if they are proven better quality. First there's the cost aspect, the price of 20 euros is just out of the air, and that's $25 remember. Factor in the shipping costs seller's costs and profit for the sellers, I think it's a non starter really.
Then there's the supply chain issue too - it's flaky sometimes getting stock through from China, but if one supplier lets us down, we can go to another at least.
I think your efforts, Imeo are better placed on designing all the amazing GG stuff that no-one else can do - like you already do.

That would depend on the quality of the atty. A superior atty, or some kind of forward step in the technology that gave any kind of extended life in a big way to an atty would be money well spent.
Not saying Imeo needs to spend his time on it, but that technology is the weakest link. Someone will improve it at some point. But I don't think we should ever be satisfied with inferior technology to line the pockets of China.
It's not in our basic human nature to not improve on things.
I think I agree with you Waffle. I want to make an atomizer that will be much better than the Chinese ones, an atty without soldering witch is the weak point of them, an atty that will be very simple so you can see inside it and you will know what you smoke, an atty that will not have chemicals inside it to avoid corrosion, an atty that will have replaceable coil, an atty with better quality of coil. But there is another point here. I have to make it work with AFS too. I have to make deep thoughts about that

Here is my ultimate new idea for you my friend.
You make the AFS so it accepts a special Atty.!!
1. This atty is designed like this:= You make a filler like a cartomizer that is the size of the inside of the AFS with a coil wire inside of the filler like a cartomizer. People buy these and just load it into the tank and the fluid sucks up into the filler like a carto and we vape from this. You could sell replacement AFS Cartomizers to everyone specific for the AFS. This system would be awesome, (just imagine everyone), and AFS Sized cartomizer that fit inside of the AFS tank Designed just like a regular cartomizer but much bigger, it would last a long long time and have a taste that was excellent and better that Attys, and this would be simple for you to make Imeo it's just a cartomizer but bigger much bigger and it fit right into the tank !!! This is my idea of what would be best for the GG family next, next generation GG/AFS/Cartomizer.!!!!! W O W !!!

nice idea mwa but you just describe the current AFS buddy. AFS works like this. It feeds the carto's filler with liquid. Also the current AFS is better because if I make it like you said the filler will be very fat and far away from the coil so liquid will not reach the coil at all after some period of time
