you people don't get it ..... it doesn't flood, it's leaking and has nothing to do with vapping
I leave the AFS it on the table and not touch is and I'll find it later full of juice ...

and I have good thing to says as well, I have stated before that the GG and GGTS are very nice and work well, but this AFS is DOA !

anyway, supplier confirmed leaking is normal and part of the design ...figure that ...and in my book that's a no, no .. so, I'll probably just move on ...

This supplier stated that leaking CAN happen - if it's happening like you say, then it's got to be misuse of some sort or you just haven't got the hang of it fully yet. As also stated, some atomisers are better than others and cartomisers are the best way to go if you are experiencing leakage issues in particular.

If all the o-rings are in place, the device is tightened down, and you've tried multiple atomisers and cartomisers, then there must be something else you're doing that's causing these issues.

It has been stated by everyone here that when you lay the device on its side you ALWAYS have to close the control ring. That is just common sense. The collection tank is just that A collection tank meant to catch the excess juice that is feed into the atty or flooding that occurs with all atomizers. The collection tank was a design that solved the leaking issue on the previous model and has done a nice job. We can now lay the device on its side WITH THE CONTROL RING CLOSED! and get no leaking... period.

I never put it on its side

I've just had a thought, Mick, can you please post a photo of all of the parts of your AFS here, so that we can just make 100% sure that you have every single component required for the AFS v2?

yes, it has all components, I'm not an idiot ...

these are the 3 points where I find juice when it leaks

Mick37,

I'm thinking you should send me that Trans and AFS, I will test it and if it leaks for me, I will pay you double what you paid for it, if it's dry for me I keep it, I will post a live video of my using it for as long as you want for my proof either way. You have nothing to lose because if it leaks your not going to use it and you get paid double your purchase price, if it's dry I keep it, no one will make you that offer buddy, and all here on this thread can witness this video. how about it.???

I do not often post in a suppliers forum in an "official" capacity. However, I have been following this saga with interest. Mick seems to have a complaint with his AFS. As stated many times by many people the AFS is an advanced user device and does require a learning curve.

However, when presented with advice from experienced users Mick rebuffs them, indicating that he is well versed in the operation of the AFS. Here is my request, and I suggest you follow it:

If you actually own and AFS and did purchase it new, there are only 2 possible sources for your purchase. Lisa at Cloud9 or Rob at Vapor Kings. To my knowledge, unless imeo, sent you one himself, these are the only places you can get a new AFS.

I have had dealings with both Lisa and Rob. They are both quality suppliers who stand behind their products. Please PM whichever of them you purchased the AFS from with your name and date of purchase. Once they verify you did indeed purchase the AFS from them I am sure they will refund your purchase if you were to return the unit with all parts in its original condition.

I don't presume to speak for them, but I know they will take care of you. If you are unwilling to take this simple action, then I presume your complaints are without merit and I must ask that you refrain from making further posts on this matter at the risk of your membership here. It's your choice.

I apologize in advance to Lisa and Rob. I'm not trying to put words in your mouths, but frankly, this is getting silly and I am putting a stop to it.

mick,

To the best of my knowledge this is the first I've heard of you having an issue with the AFS. I assume since you are showing "Melbourne" as your location that you are from Australia so I'm confused how you ordered one from us. Some people use international forwarding companies so perhaps that is what you did.

I'm going to read through this thread and look it over before I go any further.

Thanks
Rob

Vaping in itself is a learning curve....ask anyone who's been around for any length of time. And I think the AFS was specifically designed for the 'veteran user' because it is a high end piece of equipment. Let's put it this way, if anyone has been used to fiddling around with claeaning attys, popping attys, flooding attys, leaking carts, trying to find a cart filler mod that works, etc....then the AFS will probably seem like a piece of cake to figure out. However, I could see where any issues with it might be too frustrating or complicated to to a fairly novice vaper.

My advice: don't buy so 'large'. Start out small, get to know how things work and what to expect, then go big. That's why most people recommend something simple like a 510 kit to newbs....and not a high end mod that might need some tweaking to get it working just right. Or try a regular atty rather than a LR or HV....start with something simple, get the hang of what it involves, then 'move up'.

Afterall, within the first couple of months, some people realize vaping isn't even for them. No sense in spending a ton of money before you know if it's something you want to stick with or not.

been there done that , using a 501 or a KR808 is in the past ..

maybe, but when I bought it, on the item description on the website does not say that - they should put there that the item might leak, or that is intended for experienced vappers or that it takes time to "learn" to use it.
Nothing like that, not to mention does not come with any type on manuals, instructions and so on ... but that's a different story ..

also the money I've spend so far , it's a large amount for 2 reasons - first is that been located down under and the suppliers are in US, you can't order just 1 bottle of juice or 1 carto and pay $25 shipping - so I have to order bigger quantities. and second because most of the cartos I've bought and juices were really bad quality and went to the bin ...
I'm already set up for hardware..almost .. with the GG and GGTS .. I still have to find some decent juices and decent cartos ...
