Strange emonty. Wonder what the problem was. Maybe you poked through the center tube without knowing it. What I have been doing lately is to put a toothpick down in the carto to push the center tube away from the location I am about to drill. Kinda gives me a little back up insurance in case I poke too far. I was thinking about making a little tool to back up the inside of the tube to stop my poker from going too deep on accident. When its your last carto you surely don't want mess up...... Something to slide down between the filler material and the side wall of the carto might do the trick. I have a few 401 batteries that might get cut up because they are the next size tube down from the carto 901 etc. Slice it in half length ways and make it nice and smooth.

yes Keith. I was thinking the same, a pice of very strong metal or something to protect the tube from being pierced....still got enough carto's...lazy :D

I found a carto in my tools. I just open it and I saw a simple construction. I saw 2 wires for the coil and filler all around, nothing more. I think that there is no way to damage it, only to move a little the center pole with the drill. But we have to go very deep to damage the center pole. Emonty I am almost sure that your holes are ok and your batteries are damaged as you said

Ok, I tried again the three cartomizers that were flooding, leaking and not working correct, but now on the PT. Unfortunatly the problem is still there. I made 10 cartomizers with the same holes on the same spot, but some work perfect while others don't. Really strange, wish I knew why..........so it is 100% not the battery or the amout of threading or something like that as I treat all the same way. I swap a "good" one with one that floods, reverse and all is well again, so no issue with o-ring etc........

put filler inside the hole you made. If you still see leakage then put a little more filler so it will be more compact.

Will try later, hope it works. also it would be nice if you can unthread the atomizer without pulling it out from the brass connector. If the AFS would have the bottom cap fixed to the AFS and the adapter would be inside then it would be much easier to swap. I am sure the TS-AFS will have this feature...

Also I wonder why should extra filler prevent the leaking? With the carto's that does not work it leaks all over the place from the o-ring. The buttom of these carto's have an adjustable thread, I tried to screw them on tightly, but that does not make a difference either

What do you mean by saying "leaks all over the place from the o-ring"? Whitch o-ring? You mean the CR?
The filler will prevent leakage because if its thick and compact it will work like a smaller hole. Smaller amount of liquid will go through it

In this video you can see the external look of the GGTS AFS but the internal parts are a little different.

looks good Imeo, what is the extra tube for on the GG?

PS: cute girl, my son will like her ;-)
PS 2: I meant the CR were it leaks....will try later to stuff the hole with filler
PS 3: what are the differences internally?
