Wow, the CDC never ceases to amaze me. I mean, when I thought it was a legitimate source of fact sheets on illness and I began looking I did not know whether to laugh or cry.

It's kind of difficult when "health organizations" are political instead of factual. The reason "Flu deaths" are down is that anyone dying from some type of respiratory illness (although IDK, by this point they are probably adding in car accidents for all I know. "The driver, during a violent fit of coughing, lost control of the vehicle killing seven-- 7 COVID 19 deaths."

It's not sane, it's not right, and it is politically motivated. Even AFER a fairly lengthy illness which I am fairly sure may have in part been caused by being anemic as it is a risk factor, well there was really only one day I thought I might die, and mostly it was just a wait it out situation, well.... It didn't seem that life threatening to me. Unpleasant as hell ? Yes. I am also not disputing people have died from this sucker.

I dispute a) the validity of much of the testing, b) you can't conflate recovery of COVID leading to antibodies saying "you are not sick." That just is completely messed up.

I don't think any of the antigen tests are 100% and there are so many different manufacturers. I'd think some are better than others, but IDK maybe finding the "list" and whatnot? I can't find anyone who even HAS the antigen test (as after over a month well I think it would be more accurate for me now? Argh woke up with some fever again. I have been intermittently working om my to do list and taking breaks but this blows.

Pneumonia not too bad but doc thinks the Z pack was starting to treat it but he gave me more abx and told me to continue albuteroling up. Awesome. I am going to start engaging in more activity I think that will be KEY to like, improvement. To the mailbox, today! Probably at least vacuum! Around the block tomorrow. BOOM. That sort of thing. Etc.

the albuterol nebulizer worked much better for me compared to those inhalers when I had bronchitis last Dec. I got it for the wife actually but was using it instead of the inhaler. It might be worth asking about if the inhaler isn't cutting it.

Yup but I don't understand my doctor he was like "Your lungs are mostly perfect except for a slight pneumonia." That don't even make sense. ALSO I know my lungs are QUITE imperfect as I have scarring on my lower left lobe and that doesn't leave, EVER. I also told him I was sick of anemia and I wanted iron infusions. He was like, "I don't know how to obtain that." I was like, "HUUUUH? Well, I am asking you to FIND OUT." He hasn't.

Anyway new plan, take the abx, apparently my white blood cell count was not "so high." So, why did I spike a fever or 101 then this afternoon. I give up (I don't like neubliizing and I acutally find the albuterol inhalers work better."

I decided WHATEVER I have I am JUST gonna have to take charge of this problem and fix it with my iron will. I will take the abx and albuterol I don't care. I am also going to do progressively more every day .Tomorrow, I will take the EVIL Advil or the slightly less evil asprin and do yoga. I don't care about no fevers, after I took mine I took some Tylenol and vacuumed like the floors and started mopping. I must have looked like a small child with large implements because the husband was like, "You said you were vacuuming hand over the bucket." I was like, "Well *I* am not satisfied *I* can keep going." But he grabbed so...

Tomorrow YOGA. I might even do my first 'hot" yoga an turn up the thermostat to 107 or something. Although most people in my life seem opposed to that. BUT JEUSUS CHRIST I'm not getting better, my medical care is .... the ONLY thing I can think to do is like, GET BETTER ON NERVE ALONE or get sick enough for the hospital and I am SO AGGRAVATED at this point it has been FIVE WEEKS I can leave this damn state in a pine box. I don't care. I'm DONE COVID can go (censored) itself I AM DONE ON DECISION ALONE .

We have a hollyhock bush in our backyard too, I am considering eating some of the flowers. That is probably not the BEST plan given all my medications. BUT I am thinking it over, I mean BAH.

I have hit the rebellion portion of my illness and if the cart me out on a 911 call because "I did to too much" WELL BAH.

My poor mom has been being all rational but she gave up texting she is probably in the "pray for my idiotata daughter" phase but I have gone through WORSE THAN THIS AND IF I AM SO FANTASTICALLY WELL, my body is just gonna cooperate is ALL.

My doc is an idiot, although since he can't figure out "iron infusions' I should go get some of his blood plasme he said he had covid. Except I'm not sure I could tolerate this TOOLs blood in my VEINS.

"I do not know how to obtain iron infusions DA WHAT?" You have a medical degree you have a referral staff DO IT CENSORED CENSORED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I'm pretty PO'd I'm gonna get well on my own so ARGH!!!!!!!

Nope but when I show up on the well side next time to "find out" and I will make sure he there tht day, I will not be nice, "I will not be like, "I don't care about a mask really but YOU might want me to have one," none of that I will march back there and say "I BREATHE DRAGON COVID GET OUT my WAY and I will uh, find my doc and ask about the infusions and if he says he still doesn't know, well, GAH. I will say to him, "I bet your blood is not iron deficient and it has antibodies in it, what blood type are you... .K, I am going to need you to CHANGE that (if necessary) I will wait and we will like, um, do one of them "direct' blood transfusions right now."

That's probably a bad plan he's pretty skeezy DO Spuur, Doctor of Osteopathy. I don't want the syphilis's TOO much but I probably will call my mom tomorrow to reassure her, and like, I will not NECESSSARILY do what she wants but I might say I mostly will because I have worried her enough, I am quite SURE. So, I can agree to ah, what is that M word.... Mod... moderation, that's it. She won't know. Not unless my ECF mom who is also like "Anna maybe rest" tells her, but I don't believe they communicate except maybe on some deep spiritual level because I am WAY too much for any child to handle. so. My plan tonight is to sleep for 7 hours MAX because I done plenty of resting and I am SICK of it. Well, 8 hours might be more "reasonable."

Also I am not going to threaten to breathe on ANYONE because like, I want to LEAVE this evil pace in a mode of transportation INCLUDING a pine box IF NEEDED.

But I most definitely DO NOT WANT to be confined here in a box with bars for life, because the way the media is being probably threatening "COVID breath" is an evil crime although JUST a few decades ago we were such a savage race, you could not even COMPEL someone to tell you they had HIV EVEN if they KNEW and were deliberately trying to infect you.

In any case I won't text my mom now cuz it is late where she is but I will submit to reason. I'm just reverting to my adolescent self, and that is a horrible, horrible child way too rough for any one set of parents to handle.

So I shall reel it in and I did eat and I did find my silver relic and I WAS gonna set up my Mango Lassi Tank but THEN I freaking unscrewed a grub screw and I was like, "Bah, I am TOAST today for SURE."

I did tell the Spurr, DO that I understood he didn't know everything but he should know someone who knew someone who knew someone to ASK and he better. I don't think I am gonna be able to bear to see him anymore I hear the Bisbee Copper Queen is a lot less lame I might try there, I mean I am trying to DO more so that includes DRIVING.

Yep but my drugs aren't really fun that much not the ones I can take. I am considering that plant that kills covid, that grows there. It might be kinda psychedelic in its effect since NO one wants to comment on its interaction with anything.

You know, I used to think those dang sanatoriums for TB where they sent you to smoke out in the garden and "recover" oh I mean "die" sounded like heaven on earth but I bet they just SUCKED.

The last time I remember feeling this tired was catching mono in high school and no it was not from kissing and I did not grow up here so it kinda decimated my family. I still "had" to go to "School" and whatnot.

I am going to start doing .... although I must say I feel horrible now but if I want to get my nice 8 hours in, I better go to bed now.

There are a number of cases reported in the medical literature of married couples where one of the pair got quite ill and tested positive with WuFlu while the other didn't. One of the first was an older couple on the Diamond Princess who were locked in their cabin together for several weeks while the ship was in quarantine in a Japanese harbor. There's no official explanation for this, but one might speculate that some people do have a degree of natural immunity, possibly a cross immunity due to previous exposure to a less virulent corona virus. In addition, it's understood that quite a few people who test positive develop no symptoms at all, or their symptoms are so mild that they wouldn't have thought they have this thing. So I don't think we can eliminate to possibility that Anna has this thing just because her husband doesn't.

Hollyhock. It does (reputedly) freaking deal with a lot of symptoms I know this because my fheac of a husband DID catch it, probably.. There were a few days there were he looked really ill and I kept saying "Did you take your temp? You look not good." He kept blowing me off. He then stated he stopped his own meds for a couple days and took hollyhock and he is now "fine."

So yeah, I was pretty PO'd when I found out. I did not bring up mah "Feelings" about it until last night because I like to argue myself to sleep (apparently.) I was like, "YOU KNOW, it is HELPFUL to me if I know you are sick. What if you are having a heart attack and you decide to take digitalis in the yard, and I find you all keeled over somewhere and I can't even say to the paramedics what unbelievably dumb stuff you did and etc. etc." He was all like, "Well *I* made a decision what to do and it worked." I was like, "You probably just had a mild case stop eating crap in the yard you aren't a cow."

So that talk did not go well I would up calling him a narcissist and he was like, "maybe you are going to call me a sociopath next." I was like, "You keep this up, I just might." Then I asked him if he wanted me to lie to him if I got cancer." He was like, "Sometimes I think you might be." I was like, "Well that just proves what a cryptic jerk you are *I* would never do that because I am not a .... head."(I was using worse words but I can't censor every second word." I told him that was going to be part of my memorial, "You all know the husband that cryptic f who won't tell anyone anything and engages in insane plans, well, guess what, he did it again. The man who tells "a partial truth" like after the fact. Here he is, again. We should all share partial memories and figure out what he was REALLY like."

So that was not the calm and reasoned discussion I wanted. I am going to remember "daytime" next time.

I got 8 hours sleep and I'm leaving the holly hock be. I don't think it even worked he is in bed, coughing. I am going to have to make him go to a doctor or CONSULT one and that may mean threatening a divorce. Argh.

Feel somewhat okay. No fever this am. I do think I'm on the mend it's just COVID is evil it messes with you with the good and bad days, but well, at least I am having some better days . I guess.

Combine and lightly sauté in butter. Grind in some black pepper and sea salt.
Serve with baked salmon or grilled tuna steaks and twice cooked potatoes.
