The Motor City
If there are any other fans of the Vision Vivi Nova, the "mystart" house brand novas at ecigcharleston are the real Vision brand. They sell a few different shapes and sizes for $.99 each, with one 2.4 ohm head. They often have 15% off on the weekends to boot.

@bnrkwest - I also found those UD Youde tanks at DragonflyEcigs online. They had pretty much the same info on the tanks, but did have the following that provided further info. on them:

"The AGR secures the cartomizer between the two halves of the bottom assembly, ensuring your cartomizer won't go anywhere. The top of the cartomizer features a hole for filling with our needle-tip bottle caps and a convenient thumbscrew to seal everything up.

Please note: Standard pre-punched cartomizers need a bigger hole. You must manually punch holes in your cartomizers for use with this tank. Do not use the colored cartomizers with this tank. (Just silver)"

Somewhere out there
lol,, thanks,, i am guessing the wick and coil were 1 back then. i am happy i didn't have to go through so many revisions to vaping equipment. but i suppose you guys were quite enjoying all of the new inventive ways developers came up with.

which reminds me,, i haven't seen much in the past few weeks that would be considered 'new'... anyone else? i thought for sure china would flood us with several designs/new ways/new tanks before 8/8.. hasnt really happened....its like they are saying we are at a plateau or something.
Until deeming news I was still using cartos and CE16's LOL Just now I am getting all this new stuff to rebuild, so it will be fun for me once I get into it.

If anyone runs across evod/protank coils at a clearance price give me a holler. Sure would love to find them at that .99 for 5

Tish & Dave at DesertVapes have them at a really good price per box of 5. Not $.99, but I think I paid $3.95/box before a discount with a code. Can get the regular wicks in them, and the SOCC one, too, for the same price. If you've never ordered from them before...get 10% off with code "1storder10".

between here and there
I realize we are all different, I had those years ago and didn't like them but others rave about them. I can't even remember what I didn't like other than I think the screw on the side is ugly.

I had those, lost them all so now I just use cheap metal drip tips. Of course, I keep losing those as well.
For a fill tool, I love the slap yo mama one Big Daddy has, I ordered a couple more just in case I lose mine. His page is slow to load for some reason- Slap Yo' Mama Adapter : Big Daddy Vapor
Didn't I read that they were closing their door and going out of business?

You definitely need a fill tool of some kind :)
I never used any tool to fill my cartos. Just the old fashion drip on the inside or fill the 'condom' part of the cartomizer that fit on tip that you had to take off when unwrapping it.

These were for filling the carto tanks, you could do it without one but was too fiddly :)

I think we are talking about two different things. To use cartos, punched with tanks, need the tool to get the carto into the tank without damage.

@bnrkwest - OK, I've got a couple questions. Been a long time since I used cartos of any kind.

I've got a Smok 3mL UDCT, and it has the slotted bottom to use 45mm flanged cartos with, so the flange catches in the slot. However, most cartos I've bought lately don't have a flange. So you're saying that U Youde Tank definitely works like their description says...using all those cartos without a flange??

Also, I specifically asked the owner of AlvineCigs to measure her various Boge cartos (which have no flange) for me before I ordered a bunch. She said the Boge XXL cartos measured 45mm and the XL cartos measured 40mm. So...once I punch the XXL ones I can use them in a tank. But the 40mm ones will just have to be used without a tank, and remain unpunched, right? If I get one of those U Youde tanks you linked to though...the extra tank it comes with is for the short ones that are 35mm that I can punch as well. Correct?
The stand size cartos are the 35mm. Be sure to check the size of the tank before punching. that should tell you what fits where. They do make the tanks for the larger sizes of cartos but they usually give reference to their size also.

Holy Batman, I think you have more than I do. Yep, I am certain of it since I sold a few vari's a little while back before the regs came out.
