These were for filling the carto tanks, you could do it without one but was too fiddly

Yes, but if you are vintage then I must be antique cause I started vaping back when all we had was 510 atty's and some filler in a 2ml black holder thingy. ugh.....so fiddly was the only way back then. Then came the carto 'condoms' boy we had fun with that one. LOL

Yep that is what I started with back in 2009, I thought cartos were the greatest invention ever! LOL
edit: and those fiddly things that lasted for 5 puffs is why I didn't quit smoking until 2011! LOL The cartos did it for me

You should have been around before the 510's took off, the Indulgence was the high end mod and it had 4 different heads so you could use 4 different attys on it. The xhaler had two heads, I think. The 301, 801, 808 and another one I can't remember were favs and had their following.

I think we are talking about two different things. To use cartos, punched with tanks, need the tool to get the carto into the tank without damage.

I just used a flexible drip tip. Works like a charm.

I started collecting them because they are the perfect vape for me ... plus, they were not easy to get up here in Canada.

Yeah me too. I had found a safe smoke cartridge cigalike thingy that I used to quit smoking along with the atty's. Then joined here and found jonboy tanks that held the cartos and if it wasn't for that, I probably would have went back to smoking. Love my jonboy's. Still have every one I ever bought.
