For lower wattages, Samsung 30Q or LG HG2 are solid with great capacity. Just get them from a known vendor.
Question though my Eleaf istick 80w are rated for 5500 mah I think and I use 2 a day. Wouldnt I be better off getting mods that use 2 batteries then? I chain vape.
I love two battery mods for the battery life, I vape around 14 watts and get 4 days out of a two battery mod before needing to charge the batteries..
Get whatever you prefer.. If battery life is important to you then by all means grab a two battery mod.. or two..
The only thing that truly matters to your vape is the tank you use, just get a MTL tank..
As a DIY'r I don't buy too many juices, but one I need to stock up on is Ohm's Western Tobacco, a good cheap juice. The longer it steeps, the better it is.
I wish I had the grey matter to DIY with mods and build my own coils etc but I accepted long ago that it just isn’t an option for me. Are there any good plug-and-play batteries worth stocking up on? One of my earliest vapes was an Innokin mvp2. I liked it a lot but came to prefer Vision Spinner and ego style batteries and I honestly don’t remember how long the Innokin lasted.
If I were to stock up on the newer MVPs or something like ego batteries (are the Spinners even around any more?) how long do those stay usable if they’re just being stored? Would they last a couple years? Or after 6 months would I find myself with a bunch of dead batteries?
I’ve been wanting to try the Uwell Caliburn and if I like it, I’ll probably also use that however long I can. I prefer small, discreet vapes during the day or whenever I’m out and about, and I can’t seem to find clearomizers for my favorite 808-d pen vapes from Migcig anymore (Migcig has their own, of course, but they are so overpriced I had to look elsewhere). But I know both the Caliburn and the Migcigs aren’t likely to be available long term if all of this goes down the way we expect it to. Are there simple, user-friendly options that can at least get me through a year or two?

all are perfectly good RTA's for MTL.. the Coppervape clone might have more airflow than the true, and coming from the Lemo the true might be right up your alley..
You can actually buy coils already wound for you, so all you have to do is put them under the screws and stick in the cotton or rayon.
Plus, Dakota, they have neat tools to help you wrap your coils nowadays. It's a ton easier than it was back in the day.

You could get an Aegis Mini. It's almost identical in size and appearance to the Aegis Solo, just a little shorter. It has a built in battery. I got one. Downside is it doesn't have as much runtime as a Solo with the 18650. On the other hand it charges really fast. That wouldn't matter so much if you had several of them that you could use in rotation.
If you want something discrete the Mini is a bit chunky. It's a lot shorter than a Spinner though. And its width makes it less likely to fall over if you stand it on your table.
Don't have any advice on tanks. All mine are so old you can't buy them any more.

I just went through my “inventory” and finally separated the wheat from the chaff. Everything that is unquestionably usable and relevant is in the Tupperware tub, sealed up and sorted. If the shelves were to be cleared tomorrow, I’d feel about 70% confident about my existing supply of gear...which is to my vape mind more like 30% deficient but provided we have until May 2020, I’ll keep picking up a few choice things here and there, drawing heavily now upon the wisdom of the good people here at ECF.
What I am slightly worried about are my REOs, even though I have replacement parts, I know I’m going to have to hit up a YouTube tutorial about cleaning them up. One of my fire buttons is sticky (please don’t shame me) but I know a good swab-down will make it like new. Plus I will need to reorder that gold detox stuff but other than that, they’re there and still good to go.
I have plenty of RTAs and a ton of replacement glass, o-rings, airflow plugs, things I had wisely purchased and are still just as viable today as they were in 2016. I’m actually quite proud of the choices I made that summer; I didn’t go crazy buying this and that fad items; I locked into products I had success with and bought multiples and replacement parts that will be good for years (Lord willing).
Today I picked up another mod (single battery made by Vandy Vape; I forget the name) and an RDA for 40% off as I was a first-time customer at that particular store (it is across town). They will stay in the wrappers and are packed away. That store also had a pretty good B&M price for some 100ml bottles so into the freezer they went as well. I will be receiving a ton of vape mail in the next week for eliquid; it’s funny because I haven’t received much vape mail in over a year. All of it will go into the freezer and then I should be as prepared as I want to be until DIY time.
My plan for now is to go along as usual buying for my FireLuke Mesh tank and hoping my DNA mod stays trusty for a few more months. I don’t see any reason why it should fritz out unless it just does one day. But I will pick up a mod or two each month until May as that, to be honest, is where I feel the weakest, even though that’s probably not too terribly realistic.
