Hello everyone,

I mentioned in the shop closing thread that I just got back from a local vape shop closing (how on topic! ) While I won’t pontificate about that here, I will say they had some “good deals” except it was because they are LIQUIDATING and were it not for the fact I am a friendly acquaintance with the owner (to whom I apologized profusely for the state of things, and even for taking advantage of their closing sale) who commiserated with me for around an hour, I would have felt horribly guilty.

But they had shelves of $2 60mls of which I bought several 0mgs, as they were not exactly flying out of there and I can mix in nicotine myself. It’s going into the freezer.

The best purchase today by far was an MVP 3, a model of that mod I had always coveted but never owned. The price was a steal. I do feel a little guilty about that. I don’t think I’m even going to stash it away...I may just go ahead and use it. I don’t want the battery to become defunct sitting in a Tupperware.

So maybe I shouldn’t have posted this in the “stocked up” thread

It is hard to watch the end of the vaping era come crashing down. I remember it's beginnings, creative years, boom years, now end years. It has been a wonderful ride and sad times seeing it evaporate. I am so thankful for the experience thru thick and thin. We will survive during the Dark Ages.

Luckily I got two other promotions one for 1.99% till April (Now full) and one for 4.99% till April (adding up). Still the best spot I've been in credit wise for a long time, I made a lot of big payments this past year. No regrets, I'm not going to live without vape gear.

I haven't tried bottom filling yet. I tried the top fill add on I got on FT. It works well except the air hole weeping, but now that I blow in the air hole no flooding or weeping. I really like no bottom screw to deal with

There's no bottom screw to deal with on the KFL 2019. You just unscrew the entire base. True, I often have to deploy pliers to do this, but that's because, in addition to overfilling, I tend to overtighten.

It takes just the right amount of wicking or it will certainly leak out the airhole. I just got mine yesterday and my first wick job was a fail, second time I left the tails at full thickness and it's been great. I use rayon though so YMMV with cotton.

I use cotton and have left tails both full and skimpy. Flooding occurred either way, and, as I said, I think it's because I overfill. No big deal. Until I mend my ways, I'll just vape through the floods. It doesn't take long.

Right, that's one reason I wanted to try the 2019, all my older Kayfuns have the fill screw. It's not horrible with the fill screw just easy to loose it LOL I like the 2019, great KF vape as always

Have you received the re-shipped package yet? Look at where it was shipped from. There was a story on WGBH on how companies are getting around the China tariffs by re-locating their products to another country. They also change the manufacturer's label so it doesn't say Made in China. You might get your next TV this way!
