No idea. Protection is generally for too many amps, not too few.

@somdcomputerguy - Any idea if the armor prime really doesn't work with a coil over 1.2 ohms?
That's why I asked... You would expect it to be the other way around. And I was going to buy that one, but I have some coils that are 1.4/1.6/1.8 ohms. (I have plenty of .4ohm, .6ohm, etc... but this mod would be part of my emergency stash and by the time I got to it, I would probably be left with a lot of high ohm coils... heck, the wife still uses one that is 2.4ohms and I thought that would work with anything out there).

EDIT: That mod does have some safety features in it, so it is not a true 100% mech mod... maybe a circuit board restricts using higher ohms somehow?

I really don't think it'll complain about high ohms. I'm not seeing that on the main ehpro site, or on the user manual (though the manual is unchanged from the V1 - the V2 tube is apparently slightly wider to pick up 21700 batteries).

Hopefully somd will chime in, otherwise I'll gladly toss a high ohm coil on it when it arrives on the boat.

I have a 1.4ish ohm coil on it now, a few weeks ago I had a 1.8ish ohm coil on it with no problems either.

Likely "urban legend" - one site made up a number, others then copied it going forward.

Y’all are killing me. I’m stuck on public/unsecured wifi and no cell service till tomorrow night. I can’t order anything
VPN is your friend :) I use Ipvanish, but there are multiple decent ones around.

Thanks man! If you do, let me know if it blows up or not! ;) I appreciate you risking your life for me. :D

EDIT: NM, I see it has already been done. :)

Yeah I'm in Denver. Everyone has been calling out of work all week that lives over 15 minutes away. Supposed to get bad again tonight.
